I don't think people would care as much without minerals though.

I have 48% in null. That's 52% of 2650 posts, or roughly 1380. I'd get elite again in no time. SENv4 went off when I had 1470 or so cumulative posts, I was a bit sad. I think we should bring back those special name colors in certain places depending on certain posts. It was a good system, and the administration made sure that someone who abused it was punished. It seemed to work, at least.

Also, PBG's were fine, and fun, no less professional than signatures (though more unorthadox). They generally had high transparency, and weren't spammed by any members. If we set the minimum to maybe 300 non-null posts, I think anyone else who reaches it afterwards will know SEN standards on this and choose a similarly minimalistic style (OR ELSE!).

They could be done as greyscale PNGs with alpha transparency, designed to have a very low opacity... Like, really faded.

I have IrfanView and GIMP, and I'm using Firefox with Firebug installed, so if anyone has some images that would be decent candidates for such a thing, I could test 'em out and see how they'd look.

That was the idea, however people couldn't accomplish that.

Honestly, v4 just looks like a mix of a crappier version of our new default skin, with carbonite sides. I wouldn't mind having the majority of the systems back from v4, but the skin wasn't godly, by any means.
