After going through some random maps in my downloads folder, I stumbled upon the ever so epix: Deep Six.
When we look in the top right, slightly off margined words can be found.
"No action"
"Use"
"Activate"
Again, the question is:
leik h0w d0 u d0 dis.
None.
Um... I don't see it.
Edit: If you're talking about the top left then, yes, I see it. That's the leaderboard.
pix? map?
"Parliamentary inquiry, Mr. Chairman - do we have to call the Gentleman a gentleman if he's not one?"
Possibly a leaderboard text simply with the Align Right tag in front of it?
None.

This, with transparent player colors.
None.
Transparent player colors? What color numbers are those?
None.

I just took a look at the map and it is in fact done by the leader board. BUT what stumps me is that in the spot where the type of board it is (Total, Kills, Razings, etc.) it is blank. That's why it doesn't actually show the scores or colors, just the name of the board. This is what the action looks like:
LeaderBoardScore(, "Examine");
Don't know how he did it though. =\ StarForge won't let you, and SCMDraft can't either.
None.
I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.
if the score is big enough, it won't show a value. same with minerals and gas

Like HOW big? Will it still show the color by the score?
None.

Ten billion should do; haven't you seen minerals and vespene gas counts disappear at a very high number? (I've seen this worthless fact in a few games, the first one that comes to mind is Puma Bound 2)
It sounds like the leaderboard has the same effect, if Ahli is accurate. And yes, it will still show the color by the score, in which case you would need colors that don't display.
I am going to guess that this was NOT the method used by the author based on the description I've received. However, I do not know of an alternative method.
Edit: I'm going to look into that "No specified leaderboard" comment.

Nope, that is exactly what was done. Set the score for the players to a high number such as 999999999, and set the players' colors to one that is transparent on the leader board, such as 55.
Pretty neat trick!
