RPG Challenge Submissions Thread
The deadline is finally here. Participants need to get their submissions in by the end of the day. If your map isn't listed but exists, just point me to it. Enclosed are two screen-shots per map, authors can provide different screen-shots for their map if they wish. If you want a short description annexed to your map listing, merely post one. I will updated as they come.

Kias, I can't believe your super-hyped map, the whole reason you wanted to bother with this, has lost.

Yes, I won't be submitting my map. It isn't the primary reason I made the challenge, though. I wouldn't say it is super-hyped either. I've specifically told no one anything about my map so that it wouldn't be.
If anyone has gotten over-excited about Nightfall simply by virtue of the fact that Lethal_Illusions and/or I are the ones making it, then they are seriously overestimating my/our/his ability. Our fields of expertise are pretty single-dimensional. In any case, we'll release a mini-demo when we finish some more stuff.

Maybe you misunderstood the purpose of the challenge. Here:

Our objective is to fuel and produce quality high-end maps for the Starcraft community in its dying years. We hope to make a competition of unprecedented magnitude, the best the mapping community has to offer- to make one last bang before we go.
The purpose of the challenge was to encourage and motivate people to make high-quality RPGs. It was originally an attempt to get payne to work on his RPG, but we decided to open it up to all of SEN. It didn't have anything to do with our map.
On the matter of Nightfall, I actually had to convince Kaias
not to release it today. I wanted a few more features for the demo which would not have been finished if we met the deadline. We'll release the demo soon enough, though.

Add the BASW demo by me and Madroc.
None.
And I was JUST about to ask for a two week extension.

Debating if I should release a demo, hm. It's probably one hour worth of gameplay, and all the core systems are in. I'll decide at the end of the day I guess, I kinda just want to because it will have the same name as Cecil's lol.
You should

Fixed. Is it going to be two in the final version?
None.
If any participants have any suggestions for how they want their map to be played, please state them. For example, if your map is best played with a full house and with LAN latency, tell me so I don't play it with 2 people over bnet. I don't want any complaints about your maps not being played as intended.
None.
I don't want to make any promises, but I absolutely want to have this be 2 player co-op. The thing is that I just couldn't make the gameplay I currently have fun for both players. I personally really love having 2 people, as I actually don't like to have to play any SC map by myself. So to me, the extra player as an observer with the potential to take control over the entire game with no loss in gameplay whatsoever (except gold, for now), is still really fun. Though, when I had testers play this, they were rather immature and just fought over control of the character.
Hopefully I can make it really fun for the support player, if not, then I'll just continue with the second player being an overglorified observer. I also realized not too long ago, that I made the player start with 50 gold. This is really bad, as you're supposed to walk around that first city you start in and find out how to gain gold by talking to the city people. This was intended to force the player to get used to using the gateway functions. However, if you start with gold then you immediately skip 90% of the intro's city dialogue. This is really a shame, as if I were to release the bugfix (deleting of 1 trigger), it still wouldn't fix the fact that I ruined my first impression on everyone

It was probably confusing because of that little bug

Updated my map production thread with my submit version, Kaias. Also, my screenshots and map are externally hosted so just follow the links for the ones you want to put in this thread.
For QPK/Judges:
Map is intended to be played without lag.
Map is intended to be played with 1-4 players.
Map is intended to be played by competent RPG players. My target audience is not the average battle.net newbie, I don't give a crap about anyone who complains about not being able to figure out how to play my map.
=> Map is intended to be played by people with functional brains.
=> If you can't figure out the puzzle, tough.
I don't mean to imply anything about our judges, I just don't care for critique like "oh this is too hard." Go play something else if it's too hard.
Also, if one more person tells me they can't find their character I may shoot someone. When you die and respawn IT CENTERS VIEW ON YOUR HERO. [/ranting]
None.

Let me show you how to hump without making love.

This angers me. And don't tell me about how I should have entered, I just want to witness awesomeness.
Also, Kaias needs to stop being so... Modest. It makes me feel like I am even shittier at mapping...

Here is the demo for Twilight Legacy RPG 2
Unfinished of course, and its single player.
