I watched Big Daddy last night at my girlfriends, forgot how great that movie is, possibly not the best comedy though... but it's still pretty good!

Gran Turino was a good movie even though I think Toad was a bad actor.
I could I have written it better, and EVERYONE except Clint was completely line reading. Well maybe not his sons, but god the rest were awful. I'll give the girl some credit for at least high school drama level of showing body language. Toad was definitely the worst. I actually started laughing when he was screaming for helping in the basement. A few blunt ethnic slurs does not equate to a good movie.

I'll do the rest later.

Funniest movie of all time: Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail

Best movie of all time: Lord of the Rings: Return of the King

Greatest Sci-Fi: Starwars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones.

... Does anyone agree with you? Everyone I know thinks episode 2 was a horrible movie. Or at least the worst out of the Star Wars series.
The backstroke of the West was the worst. "I'm feeling angry now" "I'm feeling sad now" "I'm feeling angry now" "DO NOT WANT". God that movie had the best storyline of the three, and it took a giant shit on it with Hayden Christianson.

It's hard to decide on ONE movie per category... anyway, here goes:

Best Horror movie of all time: The Thing / The Shining - the only two movies that made me feel atleast a BIT scared in some moments.

Best Action movie of all time: Terminator 2 / Alien 2 (a.k.a. Aliens)

Best SCI-FI movie of all time: Blade Runner / Stalker

Best Comedy Movie of all time: Knockin' on Heaven's Door. Period. Nothing beats its pure, bittersweet humor. Who said germans suck at humor?! :P

Best Movie of all time: Apocalypse Now

...

Zycorax, I hope we're talking about the same 'Stalker' (Tarkovsky's masterpiece). If Apocalypse Now wouldn't have existed, I'd nominate Stalker as best movie of all time too. ;)

Very Good Choices.

EDIT:

Best Romance movie of all time: Stranger than Fiction
Wtf...it was worse then "The Number 23"

Best SCI-FI movie of all time: MST3K? ;o
Best Documentary of all time: -
Best Comedy Movie of all time: Eh. I've seen a lot, but I don't remember them. Same with Action.

I think a very good comedy movie was forgetting sarah marhall... and as for the best romance being stranger than fiction... isn't that the movie where he's a person in a story and the woman keeps writing and then he doesn't die because she doesn't kill him... if so... how was that a romance xD?

The Number 23 was pretty bad for the record :P!

Because the story he's being written into is a tragic romance.

The main story of the movie is that he falls in love with a baker he is tax auditing. While trying to determine if the story is a tragedy or a comedy. Then he finds out he's supposed to die.

Stranger than Fiction is a great movie. And I put Forgetting Sarah Marshall as a romance because it's a romantic comedy. Even if it edges on the comedy side.

I forgot all about that syphon ^_^!
Dapperdan, it's yeah a bit of a romance, but RUSSEL BRAND... he's a comedian, not a lover :P!
