So, when you go to bed everynight, how pillows are there to give you a good nights rest?

For me, I happen to have 4 pillows. Two for my head, one for my feet/legs, and the other one is a backup incase any of my current ones lose their coolness

👻 👾 👽 💪

I has a queen size bed so I have two that are positioned for actual use. I have 6 pillows total... You could say that some are there to prevent me from smashing my head against the headboard (as I often do for some reason), I also like them because I used to envy a classroom hamster's little nest that looked so cozy... So I built me one. Eventually, however, I put my pillows in a normal position but still kept all of them.

So... 6, like a woman.

EDIT: OH wait.. "Do you use", not "Do you have"... >.> I use one of two at any given time.
Whatever. You can say 1, 2, or 6 for me depending on how you interpret the question.

One. I used to have zero, when I was sleeping on the carpet, and at one point I was using three.
In my ideal bed, however, I'd simply have a whole shitload of variously sized and shaped pillows, jumbled up inside a sunken pit of softness. =(

Sometimes I toss it aside - like a real man.

One pillow, because I'm too damn lazy to get more. Why am I posting on this topic?

I don't use any pillows, like a real man. Actually, I have back issues, and although using a pillow isn't bad or uncomfortable, I don't like to use one. I have two pillows, but I toss them aside. There next to my bed, in case I feel like sleeping with a pillow (which is never).

Somewhere between 0 and 3, and they usually end up near my feet.

Huzzah for old pillows.
I cannot-bloody-stand spongey, fluffy, thick, springy, mattressy pillows.

I have five that sit on my bed, but when I actually go to sleep I throw all but one on the floor. Using two elevates my head too much, NOT WANT.

If the other side of the pillow isn't enough, I get another pillow! Repeat! And besides, I share my bed with the Mrs.

I prefer two pillows, but I only have one. What's with you people and changing pillows when one gets warm? :wtfage:

Because where I come from, it's pretty damn hot. AC and fans take too much gas/electricity :P

ALL PRAISE YOUR SUPREME LORD CORBO

You're probably going to freak out but I just did go and count them all right now and I have currently 11 pillows in my bed.
Yet I use only some of them.
I use only some of them because the rest are not soft enough to be used and so. So here's the deal.
I use 1 to lay my head down and I hug one of them (the thinner one) while another one is below my arms that are hugging the past one. So there goes 3 pillows.
If you wonder, I sleep on a side, not mouth down or up but a side and my back facing to the wall. Which brings me to 3 more pillows. I HATE that when I move I touch the wall, I have light dreams (like I wake up randomly several times in the middle of the night) and I only change position, so I hate it because the wall's cold and it wakes me up, cause it's cold :P, and then I take longer to go back to sleep. so I put them between the walls and my back. There goes 6 pillows.
The I just put one below my feet sometimes, other times I just put it next to them.
That's pretty much it. I use only 7 pillows out of 11. The rest of them, when I lay on my bed, I just throw them to a side, I usually identify them in the dark because they are the "new, hard ones" and I dislike them cause they aren't comfortable enough. They will eventually soften and replace another pillow. There's just one pillow that I'd never replace, the one I hug <3

fuck you all

Because warm pillows are ones that aren't absorbing heat, and are thus preventing proper dissipation. Which causes much discomfort.
I used to sleep atop my blankets, touching as little of my bed as possible, for that reason.

👻 👾 👽 💪

Upstairs my bed was next to the wall. I used two of my pillows for that same reason (wall) (not that it was cold it was just nicer to lean against pillows rather than a wall), then two more on the other side (the little cozy nest thing I mentioned in my first post. :P)

Oh yeah, I forgot. My cat also uses one or two of my pillows, depending on how they are arranged.

Cool pillows are nice, even when it is cold. Wet hair cools a pillow a lot, but it makes it feel wierd.
