Lol. It isn't good for your PC. But it depends entirely on the airflow/fan set up you're using. in some cases (ooh i did a pun), where there aren't really enough holes/air intakes then you can leave a side open for extra cooling effect. But, if you bought a case with not enough holes/air intakes then you deserve a house fire imo.
