I put it on the highest difficulty setting for vanilla skyrim once.

Fought one of the toughest mini-bosses ever. Decided it was too tough and just made about 10 paralysis poisons. Shot a paralysis poison'd arrow at the boss (who one shotted me with an AOE spell type thing) and gulped like a million +notdying potions. Ran in and raped his body with my Mace of Killin Shit. When he'd start to get up i'd poison it again so he'd fall back down. Fuck people that can 1 shot me at a distance.

Fun? Eh.

Nah, but if you're skilled enough you can survive a fight with a bear and survive. Sometimes if you're clever you can win too, but most of the time it comes down to skill with a blade. I'm not exceptionally agile in heavy armor, but I can dodge attacks well enough. by making attacks so dangerous the game isn't about running in and just attacking, you have to plan and analyze, do you really need to go kill those bandits over there or should you slink around and avoid them?

I'd hope you can survive a fight with a bear and survive.

Regardless, that barrow was the first place I went, right after I had installed my lighting mod myself. Had no idea what was in the barrow, or even what the mod would make it look like...so coincidence, mostly :) . Not Amnesia-esque, but not exactly a warm and fuzzy place to test drive a lighting mod either. I actually jumped when he popped up the first time :|

Still Napping

A bear can kill me in two to three hits. Them fuckers are strong. I'm wearing full superior steel armor, too.

They wouldn't be so bad if they didn't have that charging biting attack -- now that thing is tough to evade. And they can chain three of them at a time. One bite and half my hp is gone, two and I'm dead.

Ultraviolet shouted: NudeRaider Oh definitely fully playable. I used the first map as the shell, so it was basically complete from the first release. I've made some tweaks and improvements here and there based on nuances between the maps, like UV2 has more air units so certain ground-focused heroes like Psycho and Shadowcraft have needed some buffing. Other improvements have been little bug fixes or ways of stopping cheese strategies (like the bosses now spawn in a random location instead of at their lair so players can't just camp them with nukes. UV2 is definitely harder despite only being 4 levels + boss fight instead of 5. I'd say it's definitely worth a go, there's some unique mechanics that make each of the levels have kind of their own interesting spin
