There's no guarantee that a cheap stock will go up. Buying ten shares of a one dollar stock is the same as buying one ten dollar stock, all things equal.
If all things were equal, the stocks would cost the same.

Convince my parents to send me to some accelerated high school so I don't find high school a waste of time and do nothing productive. Then convince them to do the same with college, even if it means paying.

I still have no idea what I want to do with my life, so not much help there. Maybe Teaching/Journalism/Political Science, but stay away from Computer Science. It'd probably be better just to let my own unbiased mind explore based on similar influences. I've done this thought experiment in my head dozens of times, always really interesting.
