We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch

Is this a joke? History is your chat log.
I'm not getting what that has to do with what version of Trillian one is using.
In the basic version all you got is text files.
Most important additions in Pro version (which make it actually useful) are that it shows the last lines of previous conversations in the chat window and you can search the history from within Trillian using keywords or clicking a calendar date.

Searching [Premium Feature in Trillian Astra]

Instantly search through years of stored conversation history from within the history viewer. Search highlights key words and phrases and helpfully zooms into the relevant conversations on request.
Quote
Summary View [Premium Feature in Trillian Astra]

See your last few conversations with a given contact at a glance when you open the history window.

Uh yeah that was off the top of my head, so maybe that's not true (anymore?). I don't like 5 btw.

There's a history button up top that opens the chat log in one's default text viewer. Notepad has a search function.
:P
As for searching by date... I have full timestamps on messages, so I can do that manually without too much trouble anyways.

Windows Live (aka the better MSN)
aka the same MSN..?

I have two MSN messengers on my computer: Windows Messenger and Windows Live Messenger.
-And, Windows Live seems to have more features. All-in-all, it is the same messenger.

👻 👾 👽 💪

Oh. I think one is packaged with Windoze and one is the full, actual client ... But they are the same service. I don't particularly like either default client ... :P That's why I opt for third-party ones.

With my fancy new AceKard2 for the DS I can connect to MSN with Beup Live.

Lord of the Locker Room

I prefer AIM using Trillian. MSN and their packet loss can die in a fire. The default clients for any of them are awful. I still have msn/skype/astra accs though.

Show them your butt, and when you do, slap it so it creates a sound akin to a chorus of screaming spider monkeys flogging a chime with cacti. Only then can you find your destiny at the tip of the shaft.

Reviving. Sup with MSN losing connection because of packet lost or whatever? I don't use MSN anymore because of it. The main MSN client blows because it's just too bloated for my computer and when using pidgin or something I always get disconnected and then I'm unable to re connect to MSN through pidgin. It's the reason I don't use MSN anymore but I'd like to. What do? ;_;
