I suggest you try out non default skins before voting, to be more sure which one you want.
You can change skins here: http://www.staredit.net/?p=settings&area=present

Maplantis has been removed from the options since the first poll.

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

TURTLE:
- what part is incomplete?
- it does load as slow as all others for me
- scrolling in forum index isn't lagging; maplantis is
- it supports widescreen
- font is perfect for me to read (epic is a bit to small in my opinion)
- background isn't super green (epic), it's dark and nice to watch
- I like green; maplantis is to blue for me to be looked at all day

So is there a possibility that someone can "fix" turtle for your "needs" by tweaking it?

Turtle is the only one I like. I don't suffer from lag, nor have I ever encountered any problems with it.

Yeah... Why was maplantis removed?

I would definitely pick carbonite if it was formatted for widescreen monitors. No need for like 4 inches of useless space on both sides. Epic's font is too small and it looks like it's from the '90s, and turtle is just ugly. ;o

Because SEN isn't maplantis.

That's actually why I like it. It's not the same old stretched out shit that every other skin is.

was just reviewing the different backgrounds and I had to lol

It actually doesn't look that bad... aside from the incorrect header.

Carbonite is decent, but it wastes a huge ammount of space on the sides. but you guys already knew that didn't you ;)
I think augustgrad should have been removed if anything, not maplantis, although I can see why it wouldn't make sense seeing as we aren't maplantis :ermm:
Epic is just annoying-too much green. I think turtle makes much better use of the SEN colors, without being distracting :wut:
Turtle is comfortable, decent looking, and doesn't take away from the actualy content on the website. I vote turtle.

Edit: On a sidenote, I have my settings to maplantis, but it also helps me that it is turtle because the color of the background tells me if I'm logged in or not :D

Relatively ancient and inactive

Maplantis > Turtle > Epic.

Fixed-width isn't horrible; with Carbonite, it's a trade-off between having to scroll more and having your eyes travel across a wider area. Subjective. But Carbonite is ugly. Maplantis doesn't have any 'Maplantis' notifications; someone new to SEN would have no idea why it's called what it is. Someone who isn't new wouldn't care.

Just here for the activity... well not really

I use Maplantis, but I guess you can't go wrong with Epic.

Not to totally dismiss the idea, but in all honesty how many new members do we get anymore? I'm the only one on his thread that's new enough to not have a ^ next to my name.
And why does SEN have to change? What are we not cool enough anymore. Hey, I know we need a Facebook friends finder too! And while we're at it, we should have an iPhone app so I can check my forum posts in style. /rant

I suggested Galaxywiki's skin should be used on the last thread, and I still want that skin.

People complained about the default skin, so our polling is for the Staff to see which skin our members prefer. From the look of it so far, nothing needs to change yet.

Sounds like it was mainly Jack complaining about the default skin, judging by the incredibly biased nature of the opening post.

If you decide to do another official poll at some point in the future, how about making the thread a little more fair and professional.

No, it wasn't.

And how is it biased? Or are you basing this off my edit description that removed everything that was biased beforehand?
