VIOLENCE STRIKES TOWN
Neki was murdered outside of Paddy's Pub last night, Tuesday, April 15th, at 11:09pm. This marks the second murder in Jenkintown in the past two days. Neki was a NURSE who worked at the Avista hospital off of highway 287 & Sheridan blvd. The Chief of police released this shocking information: "It's what we feared, but didn't want to believe. It's the mafia. They've made their way into the town and are trying to tear it apart like they have many others. We ask all citizens of this town to help us in the search for these criminals. Be on the look out, and do not hesitate to share any clues you might find." The Mayor of Jenkintown calls for a lynching of the most plausible mafia suspect, which will be held today. He spoke, "I'm aware that we might lose a few good men in the process, but we must eliminate whomever is most suspicious, one at a time, in order to bring this mafia invasion to an end."

I vote Raccoon.

Raccoon is listed as the 15th player, and 11 minus 9 (from the 11:09 pm part) equals two, and Aristocrat is player #2.



The word Avista is surprisingly similar to the name Aristocrat.



Size 14, whereas Olimar's name has 14 letters.



Again, this seems to point to Olimar, as he is in the first position of players, making the word "origins" seem to be a clue that the first player in the player list is Mafia. I could find no relevance from Raul Smith.



The only potential clue I could find in this is that fire hydrants spray water, and Raccoon has water in his avatar.

Paddy's Pub caught my eye, but I thought about it from acronym to meaning and couldn't connect it to anything aside from my alcoholic relationships in Mafia #2, which could point to OlimarandLouie, DevliN or Dem0nS1ayer, so it's probably not a clue.

15 would be too obvious to point to a player number, and there's nothing else it really means. Raccoon is player 15, and DevliN made post 15. 15 is arbitrary. Leeroy started the game at a specific date, and it's just an increasing, chronological number.

11:09 is interesting. I thought it could actually be a clue referring to a date, 11 being the month and 9 being the day. Well, I browsed the profiles and found that ImagoDeo's join date says November 9, or 11/09.

Avista is an energy organization, and energy is power. Power -> DevliN because he's an admin (although I've used this card in every single Mafia game I've played with him ). It could also be pointing to someone posting about Windows Vista, but after doing a quick search, I didn't find anybody of interest.

287 (yeah, numbers catch my eye) made me think of Artanis186, but he's not playing. Odd numbered highways go north to south, if that means anything to anyone.

Googling Sheridan pops up with "Phil Sheridan" for the first link. Acronym PS, and those are the first and last letters of the name poison_us.

Probably hinting that there are clues pointing to mafia in the post, which might mean the earlier post without noclues tags didn't have anything significant. Or maybe there's a giant clue in this paragraph that I'm just completely missing. Oh! It could hint that our Sheriff investigated someone from the Mafia, because he's confirming that it is indeed the mafia in our town.

I got nothing from this block.

Googled Raul Smith, it comes up with web design. A quick search pops up with a post by poison_us as the first result. Flatiron also made me think of metal carts .

Fire hydrants are traditionally either red or yellow, and those colors could point to me, Cecil, or DevliN by avatar colors. Wally's Tacos is probably something, but I don't see anything from it.

I skipped over Cecil's clue interpretations because I read the first few and it sounded like garbage. No offense, Cecil

Hey, my clue interpretations aren't that bad. The only one I find a stretch is the time one.

Edit: Actually, the Avista clue is very farfetch'ed. I just am suspicious of Aristocrat from the Norm incident, and saw his name

You think so? Well, maybe I just don't know what "normal" clues are like since this is my first time playing. Though if I were Leeroy I would dish out similar clues to the size 14 one, I think that one is clever.
