I enjoy watching myself type in bullet time!
Seriously though. I got script hangs several times per sentence and my browser was using up 99% of my CPU.
Maybe one of my addons must have been adding some overhead to it, though. I'll have to try it again later in Chrome or something.

That's probably what Google planned. Make ever browser lag with Wave except Chrome, forcing us to download Chrome.

Brilliant. Except the part where everyone fumbles around for 30 minutes and then leaves. It's like watching people play astrogears for the first time all over again.
I can see where they're going with this shit, but they
really need to make the interface better.
I didn't even get to post all my gay protoss porn.

Red classic.

Yeah. I expect it will become an option when creating waves, plus ban powaz.

Yeah, ban powers are needed. I can imagine someone creating a wiki, and you invite them to look at it. Then you find that they edited the shit out of your wiki.
I'm guessing in its current form it's meant to give full power to all users to let them fuck around and try to come up with ways to use it. Shame that's not how users work, I've learned.
I'd love to use this at some point (with some extensive modifications, perhaps), but that lag issue... ugh.

The edit thing plus scmdraft = win.

Yeah this could be awesome for projects if a proper wave client were available that didn't lag to shit and was easy to interface with. Also a system in place for organizing and controlling how waves are used for projects, since right now it's a fucking anarchy.

If someone has a spare I'd like to try.

I have a feeling the lag is server-side. Not that I'd ever accuse Google of running slow servers, but with just a couple of people active in a wave the lag is barely noticeable.

I'm guessing a) the update code isn't optimised for multiple connections(like in multiplayer games) or b) there's just too much stuff going on, or c) google hasn't got many decent servers up for wave yet.

99% CPU use for Firefox and frequent script hangs are not serverside errors.
