Man, I never got any kiwis or eggsongs, we need a welcome forum so I can re-join SEN and get some kiwi. I prefer pineapple if any is available, though.
None.
Relatively ancient and inactive
No pineapples, just eggs. Kame's hoarding the Kiwis.
None.
I keep saying...if you want a kiwi just tell me I'll mail you one, even.
I think the more important thing right now is the poll break down. 8/30 is a pretty big split.

This sounds so unbelievably dirty for some reason.

Sounds like something that I'd point out

Sure I didn't pop off on SCBW like I wanted to, but I won VRChat. Map maker for life.

This sounds like something DM would do for a self-ego boost.

I agree with DM. This site is in dyer need of rescuing. The community is so un-welcoming and you're all about science, law, literature and religion. I think you all forgot what fun was. It's like Clan Oo, we're dead and won't admit it out of pride of what once was. We need new blood and a new image. Or we can be like woolworths.
None.
I agree, let us replace the absent "fun" with fun at Shocko's expensive.
After all, it's he who needs forgived.
I think it's safe to say that SEN cannot revive unless Shocko gets the forgived that he is in DYER need of.
None.
I hate you all until the day I die.

I think we should stop being major lock-mongers. That would be a lot more inviting than a welcome forum, imo.
I don't think it's too difficult to follow the simple rules that would keep your topic open. (Well, the topics that matter most, so not so much Null) It isn't like we lock stuff because we feel like it. I have no problem with SEN being as uninviting as possible to people who march in here thinking they can do whatever they want even if it's disruptive or at our expense. You read the rules (mostly common sense), read your pinned threads, and you're good to go unless you're making a downright silly topic.

...and for forum first-timers, locking a thread outright (which, in most cases, is what happens), isn't justifiable.
As more and more people discover internet forums, more and more people will join said forums. This DOESN'T MEAN that they AUTOMATICALLY KNOW that they need to read everything they see. I just skipped the pinned topics completely; only after my first topic did I realize that there were specific rules per forum (and subforum).
Just because most people come from existing forums and know to read important things like pinned topics doesn't mean everyone does, nor does it mean you should associate them from people who know better.
I STILL have never looked at said rules. Not very efficient systems for forum first-timers.

OK, I've thought about this a bit (yea, I can do that, believe it or not!). I believe allowing for 'hi' topics in Null is the way to go. A forum seems too restricted - as if a separate box of welcomes that does not communicate with the rest of the playground. A topic is just not personal enough and does not give a welcome feel.

I never, ever,
ever look at Null. It's at the bottom of the forums. This is why I don't like the Null idea.
