Now that I have your attention, I'd like to tell you how I did this. My team is ZZ and I do this every match up except against another ZZ.

My pner does a typical 12pool into bane.

I focus on becoming the Federal Reserve
15 hatch
18 pool (yes, you make 3 drones before starting pool)
18 hatch (this early macro hatch is the game changer)
18 ovie
19,20 drone
2 queens (2nd hatch pops same time as pool)
2 lings(4 technically)
2 more queens as soon as the first 2 pop
drone the fuck up until nat and main are completely saturated (also send around 400 mins to allie since you wont have the larvae to even spend it)
NOW you start your 4 geysers, 1 roach warren and 2 evo chambers all simultaneously.
If the enemy didn't expand, use the first 100 on speed, otherwise, use the first 250 on range att and def. next 100 on lair.
Roach hard.
Get your hive and push for 3/3 asap
If you did everything right, you find your gas actually staying low even though you are making nothing but roaches.

Why this works:
1. It's original. haven't run into anyone else doing this. Enemy has to think up a counter on the spot.
2. When they scout your macro hatch, they assume heavy ling, as they should, but they are wrong.
3. The macro hatch saturates your mineral lines with drones so fast that you will always be ahead in eco. It just turns into a game of holding the enemy.
4. 3/3 roaches have no hard counter. Especially when the most the enemy (even T infantry) can have is 2/2.

How do you plan to handle fast DTs (= which player gets detector then)?

At which time do you start your roach army?
From reading the BO, it feels weak. But I guess your friend's army pressures the enemy enough.

What does your partner do or does he stay in baneling/ling mode?

Yeah, this really sounds like it shouldn't be all that great. Replays pl0x? How does it handle opponents turtling and going into super fast muta?

This was a while ago, and we stopped playing (there's no GM 2v2 to go for). Anyone that's in masters knows you need to keep playing or you rank out rather fast.

your 4 queens can handle up to ten muta w/o spores. You'll have spores well before they can get more than 10. yes I know they can get more than 10 fast if they're both Z, but read the damn disclaimer. This is a build against everything except ZZ.

My lair comes at the standard time, so overseers can be morphed on the spot. The chambers pop before it's even physically possible to have a completed dark shrine anyways.

My pner transitions into infestor, and rather well considering the amount of gas I can afford to give. He's the flexible one though really.

pretty much the same thing, instead of the macro hatch though I get a spinal at each of my bases. Not that I haven't tried to make three hatch work against zz. It just doesn't win in masters.

I always go macro with zerg now. I can easily respond to their macro with more macro, and just worry about defending their 1 base all in, which I should be able to do on paper every time. It's my game to lose.

We've also started trying having me wait even longer to start gas. I get about 20 more lings, and just have him feed me 100 for speed.
