Let me show you how to hump without making love.

Now I am typing this on a virtual keyboard because my text looks like this:

hel¥ll¥lo guyjs how are yjou on tfhis fine wonderful¥l aftfernoon, how aboutf a c4up of tfea?

I cannot even use my shift keys and my backspace no longer works, not to mention half of my keys. Now, it started off as one or two keys not working, I unplug my keyboard from the USB port and reconnect it, it's fine... For then. I have used different keyboards, different jacks. Also my mouse has random shifts in sensitivity. Let me tell you, that is annoying as all hell when you are playing a game. I have also noticed a rise in internet lag, just for my computer. Even my mic sometimes will spit out gibberish, like a \squeaking sound.

I believe that all of these are tied to my motherboard and that I need to fix it. Soon.

I have a Gigabyte EX58-UD3R (ULTRA DURABLE 3). Any assistance would be nice.

I did just spend 20 minutes clicking this up.

I'm sorry to say this, but google might be your best friend. Or check out the microsoft support area, they sometimes give the best solutions to these problems.

A lot of people apparently get this and are ignored, I have been through 20-30 pages on Google.

Just Get a new keyboard..no seriously what's the point of trying to get a broken keyboard fixed? Keyboards are pretty disposable and don't last forever. If your broke then try the Goodwill or I bet your geeky neighbor has one laying around you can use.

I heard once you can put your keyboards in the dishwasher. I never tried it though. Haha!

If the keys do not strike correctly, make sure that the keyboard is free of dust, dirt, and foreign matter.

Turn the keyboard upside down to allow for any foreign debris, such as hair, food particles, or dust, to fall out. I usually hit it hard on the desk and then turn it upside down. Yes, this has worked.

We recommend that you periodically use compressed air to blow dust out of the hard-to-clean crevices in the keyboard.

Still Napping

That's odd, do you have a PS/2 keyboard you can try? According to the information I gathered on your mobo, it does have a PS/2 keyboard port.

If that doesn't work then I am really, really confused. Get a new mobo, I suppose.

What's cool is, is if you keep using your broken keyboard with a select group of individuals, people will eventually begin to see the patterns and automatically correct the mistakes in their head. I had a friend that only had like 18 working letters and eventually it became a second language for me.

Anyway interesting tid-bits aside, I think that everything that can be said has been said.
