i was wondering if there is a new editor out? cause in this map everything is super fast movement... and i haven't ever seen that in a map other than dbz 4x, but i still don't understand how it is done, please help...

I've attached the map that has the speed for all units...

No, there isn't a new editor. You have to use scmdraft 2 to place a player 15 scarab on the map. To get more in depth, refer to this article.

concerning that issue about the scarab,

I was gonna try to make a hyper speed melee map

unfortunately all the minerals were removed, wtf? lol
triggers weren't even the problem.

There really should be an editor feature that can simply toggle the faster speed. It's really stupid that you have to start a map from scratch just to have this.

Hex edit the map to stick the unit there, it's not hard.

It has to be the first unit placed, otherwise all units placed before it can't move or anything. Or something like that.

All you have to do is copy the units,delete them,place the p15 scarb, and then paste them again. It works every time. ^^

Long ago I had the idea to make an editor, and it had random features like that one.
I could make a quick tool ...

EDIT:
Would anyone want units to be placed before the scarab? I can make a list of all units in the map and a way to mark them as to be sorted before the scarab is placed.

The problem is when placing large quantities of troops (say 500 on a 256x256 map), its not so great for accurate placing.

Use the Copy/Cut/Paste/Brush option and just unselect everything but the unit option under it then copy, delete, place the scarb, zoom to 25% to get the units in the right spot, paste and bam. Its as exactly as it was before, but you have a scarb. Plus it takes like 10 seconds. Way faster than starting a new map.

Done. MapSpeed. Also supports Map Revealer.
Adds (or removes) either P15 Scarab or Map Revealer to the beginning of the unit table.

I could make it a bit nicer and a bit more useful... but whatever. I'll only do that if it becomes necessary.

I believe it does 2x speed, or at least it used to, although maybe that was interceptor, and the map revealer was 1.5... Can't remember.

Interceptor and Scarab do the same thing (2x), map revealer simply speeds up unit animation. It doesn't seem to do much else than that ...

the hard part of this map is all units, no matter what you build are the 4x but ill look into the article on p15 scarabs...

its just cool that any unit u build is all 4x, it intrigues me....
