I want in my mod Queen using Glave Wurm (as it was in beta version of SC) but it's somehow connected with infestation ability, thus it'll attack Command Center only. Is there any way to by-pass it (without changing unit's ID and removing Infetation ability)?
Help!
None.
I already tried this, so no. Its like trying to mod the Medic's attack without hex editting.
Infestation IS the queen's default attack. Without hex editing you're not going to be able to do anything with it.

I thought you just mainly had to change the orders in units.dat.

No, it still connects the infest order with the queen's attack.
True. Could you tell me something about this 'hex editing' (programs needed, some advices)?

I'm recently working on a new Terran unit - multi-weapon platform (i.e. Mechwarrior) and I plan to add 2 subunits to main unit, then IScripting a little, to allow them attack together with different weapons indepedently (main unit with main weapon, subunits with their own weapons - at one time). Why I'm writing here about this?
It could be little messy solution but you may add subunit with one or two transparent frames to your medic, which will attack instead of medic. Because frames are transparent it'll look like medic's attack. It should solve my hard-coded Queen attack too

If you removed the infestation ability from the queen do you think it would revert to using the normal attack?
None.
No, it's a hard-coded behavioural property, unfortunately. I'd suggest simply using a different unit, if possible.
So why doesnt someone build a program that edits this hardcoded stuff?

Take something like the "Indepentant Starport" and graft it to look like a Queen with basic Queen features and (graft?) the glaive worm?

They did, it's called FireGraft.
It's just indefinitely being made and remade.

Ya I'd use it for my campaign if it could stay up to date with the patches

Make an automatic downgrader. Learn some basic C++ and viola.
A campaign is the last thing that needs to be "current". Why? Because it's a single Player experience. Who cares what version of Starcraft it's running on.
Ascension of Duran is a sweet looking campaign btw! Sweet!
What would make it EPIC? If it was a modded campaign! How many modded campaigns are there? Not very many that's for sure. Lazy modders!
@Queen thing.. ya you're a bit screwed making that unit attack. There's dozens of other units you could make to look like queens... and they don't even have to come out of the closet.

Any websites/files you recommend to do this?

Yeah I knew FG did this, so dont you use FG to edit the infestation ability?

You'll need a compiler. The best free one around:
