Use SCMD2 for making maps, or just get colors1.14

If you ever want to make a serious UMS map... I deeply suggest SCMD2....

scmd2:

colors 1.14:

My SCMD folder takes up 60MB and 59MB of that is the backup file, which saves your map(like every 5 minutes?) while your editing. If you open a map, it saves it to there. It's very small... and if you are positive you won't make mistakes then you can just delete your backup.
And, incase you have 'limited access' or something, it doesn't require installation.

Scmdraft is just way better then the original StarEdit. Its sad that there is still people in the far depths of the universe that still have not made the switch to Scmdraft... :-_-:

If you clear the backup database, then you can free up some room on your comp. Really though, the benefits are much more than the space it takes up (barely any).

Lol, I don't use scmdraft 2 either. I'm hardcore and use the normal editor. Square terrain, colors, stacking, euds, players ids, extra special triggers. All available in the normal editor!! :P

I really don't see what you guys (farty and test *cough*) have against scmdraft 2. Also, this is beginning to turn into another scmdraft versus staredit discussion rather than answering his question. (which would still be no.)
