When it comes to writing, I can write simultaneously with both hands in opposing directions. :P
...Which isn't hard to do anyway. If you can actually hold a pen in your left hand, you can do that.
With the exact same handwriting...
It would be more difficult to write with two different handwritings than with the same. It is easy to mirror left/right actions...

But I type faster with my left hand though.
lol me too. Much faster. Especially when typing 1-handed. >.>
Odd, because I've never met anyone else that can do it.
"If you can actually hold a pen in your left hand..." Can they hold a pen with their left hand? I find holding a pen with my left hand uncomfortable.
I actually first tried it when I had a teacher claim it was her "savant skill"...

One thing that everyone should be able to that is what I mean by 'mirroring left/right actions' is hold your index fingers in the air and "write" in the air mirrored. It will be the same. You can also do both right-reading (left if you can already write mirrored.)

Oh they can do that, but can they write legibly with both hands? :P

Well, I can also do it in the same direction.

If they can at least hold a pen in a manner in which it is usable. xC

I also said that. xC

I already explained it!

ALL PRAISE YOUR SUPREME LORD CORBO

Do like me, I trained myself to be able to write with any.
I was initially left handed but my school students areound 1st grade or so forced me to write with the right hand, I have no idea why but it was only like 5 years ago when I decided to basically, learn to write again but with the left hand.

fuck you all

They forced you to be right handed? XD

Yes, they thought I was using the pencil wrong or something because all of my other classmates were using it with the right hand.
I have absolutely no idea why they made me use my right hand instead of the left one but, that's pretty much what I think and what probably happened, they wanted to teach me their method so they didn't bother teaching everything backwards to a left handed so yeah...

fuck you all

You had some retarded grade school teachers.

Because of things likes is there like, a huge majority of righties in your area? Like... Unusually huge. Actually I don't know how big it should be, I know it's a majority, but around here apparently there's an abnormal amount of left handed people. (eg, 2/4 in my immediate family are left handed, and at school I'll have classes that are like 5/12).

How does it break down for you?

I write with my right hand, but teachers say I hold the pencil like a left handed person. (That doesn't mean I hold the pencil in my left hand and write with with it using my right, that's nonsense.)

ALL PRAISE YOUR SUPREME LORD CORBO

In high school (class 06) we were like 84 people and there was only 3 left handed people and in university right now (year 07) we are like 120 or so and I only know 2 left handed people.
Those are all not counting me.

fuck you all

Ya, I just looked up the statistics, and apparently my family/classes have a shockingly high number of lefties...

I remember in grade 10 a teacher was dolling out random facts, and asked who was left handed and his response was "wow" when nearly half the classes hands shot up. The same class I discovered I prefer writing chalk with my left hand.

I find holding a pen in my right hand uncomfortable. I'm perfectly comfortable with writing with my left hand, you're perfectly comfortable writing with your right hand.

And mousing is a learned skill. I simply cannot use a mouse with my left hand, because I started off with my right hand, and that's how I learned to use it. Personally, I'd rather everyone be left- or right-handed, because the majority wouldn't have to make allowances for the minority.

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

I've a friend who writes with his left hand, too (He's a leftie.). But he uses his right hand for the computer mouse. It's awesome to watch him writing things from a computer screen.
I'm using my right hand. He is one of the few persons I know who write with the left hand. I only know a few, so I would say that writing with the left hand is rare.
BTW, most tools were made only for right handed persons. It can be more dangerous to be left handed.

Same. Which is why I use 8456 on the numpad on FPS controls than WASD if playing left handed.

I couldn't imagine how difficult it would be for me to write, or for that fact change my dominate hand to my left one. Everything I would do for that period of time would be a train wreck. I can't seem to even use the mouse with my left hand... :flamer:

O.o? That isn't difficult at all. My mouse to my new computer is to the left of this computer, so rather than reaching over I just use my left...
