AIght, I've got this problem that isn't very crucial to the gameplay, it's just super annoying to look at lol.
Take a look:
[attach=917]

I was wondering if there was any way I could reduce or remove any of the creep area around the hive(preplaced). Triggers, tile-work, doodads anything! i just want it gone lol. Thanks :)

👻 👾 👽 💪

Use walkable wall tiles (the ones at the base of the cliffs.) I'll go dig one up.

... So what tileset is this? xP

Row 64 Badlands is nice. All unbuildable, all walkable.
Row 56 Jungle is the same.

Indeed.

You can also create some extractors and kill them off to get rid of unwanted creep.

Dur! i'm not retarded... I just prefer regular trigger edit and i'd rather not; edit triggers, close rscedit, open scmd2, place 20 buildings each for 4 people, close scmd2, test, open w/ rscedit again and auto delete units, ect....

I ended up getting it alright looking, but not perfect. Looks like I'll have to settle.

ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

FYI, there might not be any larvae coming out of that hive. Why do you need the hive there anyway? can't you just move larva into an area? Take a look at how I did it in this map I just realized I hosted:

ooo i like. How to?

ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

Well the triggers are there to look at, but essentially, you just have a base hive owned by p9, out of site (stack like 10 of them to have 30 larvae at any time if you want to make tons fast). Then, move 1 larvae and give it to the player. It doesn't need creep to survive and will try to walk back to the hive, so just surround it by unwalkable tiles, then move the newly made creature somewhere else.

Nice :) did you invent that system or what? It's good work.

ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

Everything I did in that map was for the most part original. I didn't invent anything in that, but I did modify some already invented systems.

The place to upgrade is in a corner, and lets you make pretty much any units you want which would be useful, rather than having a civilian based system like most other defenses have.

The kill counter is based off of Legacy Weapon's perfect kills to cash, but I changed the triggers so they work significantly faster, and so that the units (zealots) die much faster by using constantly attacking flame traps. It limits the number of attacks, unfortunately. I may change it to zerglings later, but I really don't care about the map anymore.

The increased max supply is from Farty, and I just threw that in there as an example. Plus, it only uses 1 unit to give max supply.

The banning system was entirely developed by me, and fails miserably, since people are idiots, and I didn't give a description of how to use. Pretty much, you build a number of scarabs, and then move the reaver to the beacon to ban that player #.

I've never seen the moving larvae to another area in another map, but IMO, it's pretty simple. It just took some time to get the larvae to stand still.

I do like how you can't actually fly out of the playing area, though. That seems to work well, and uses cloaked buildings to do it.

Now that I think about it, it's more of a compilation of a bunch of concepts, rolled into one terrible defense.

View it in StarCraft. It wont do that. Also you don't need that much... just a little border around the hive (and maybe some space for larva if there isn't already.) If you make the square 4x4, the creep will fill the hatchery's exact size and larva will have room.
