I've been having a lot of free time lately so I can be able do manage the DLDB. I have 3 types of virus scanners, which are AVP, S&D, and NOD32. From countless years of SEN, I've learned the rights and wrongs and matured a bit. I think I would be suitable for this job.

I would love to be a DLDB manager. I already tried to clean up the Tutorial Database before it became obsolete. I would love improving this site.

I'd love to manage some, but I would only do so if I could judge maps based upon my (relatively unbiased) opinion, rather than by the strict rules. That was one of my biggest problems with being a manager last time, I felt forced to be lenient for maps that I would never play even if I had downloaded them.

In other words, I'd like doing it, but the rules on accepting maps would have to be harsher than last time.

Yeah you have a point but, most people might not like the same maps you like. O_o'

I used to deny stuff that was overly obscene when it lacked any kind of gameplay, don't know if you did the same. I had that long memo to the new DLDB keepers; maybe that's on static SEN..

@Brontobyte I believe he is meaning allow to delete maps such as kill 100000000000 hydras,ten thousand units,and other bullcrap maps like that.

99999 hydralisks is a fun and tactical map. You better not even think about deleting maps like that.

I'm dead serious. I'm sure many can agree with me that it is a very strategic map.

I don't think that a stricter set of rules should be imposed on the DLDB, because it's a DLDB. It's supposed to be a place where you can get any map. Even though you might not think a map is fun others might.

No the rules IP has given is fine but,I just wouldn't want to go through a bunch of maps that have very little skill.Maybe a better example would be don't f'ing move?If someone here likes that I think that would be funny.

Then don't go through maps.

Ok maybe I should ask you and merrel what you think this rule means .
Check poorly rated files and maybe some random testing to ensure files are of decent quality


I myself would think aslong as someone rates it well and I find it decent(going with that rating) then its fine.If not hey remove or report it.
In other words if others find it good and I find it good or well ok its decent enough it stays.If others dislike it and I do aswell well it gets removed.

I'll offer to help out in this area; I consider my maps, record as moderator, posts, and the fact that I would visit every day enough qualifications. Though I would admit that the fact that I've been making maps since 1998 would actually help here too because it leads to an appreciation of different styles of maps. Every map should be allowed to be uploaded -- as long is it doesn't cause computer problems or is not fun. If the map required little skill tp create, but is actually fun, then why not allow it to be uploaded?

I'll do it if you want, a little extra time at SeN won't bug me, at least I'll have something more to do while here.

I have tons of free time 'cause school is ending, and my job only takes 4 hours. I wanna scream pick me, but I know that'll lower any low chance I already have at getting picked.
