Any coding projects done on behalf of clans should be prioritized last.. honestly. I guess you can outsource it, like you did..

Don't even attempt to bother with a separate clan currency...

It should be that if a clan doesn't have more than 4 members after a week, it gets deleted. A clan is considered major (and gets a forum) if an administrator deems it so. Random numbers ftl.

ALL PRAISE YOUR SUPREME LORD CORBO

I demmand a currency for each clan! Wait no! for each individual, and different trading costs depending on each person's reputation/karma.
For example I have CPs as currency and I want to change my 5 CPs for VPs (Voyager Points) but VPs cost 2.5 CPs so I get 2 VPs

No seriously, separate currencys is stupid :P

fuck you all

Let me show you how to hump without making love.

Making a request for a clan forum. Submissions by myself include several test/experimental maps, a tutorial or two and a few productions. Other members of the clan are sure to submit their maps when we have our own forum telling them to do so and I think we can be trusted... We do have active members, excluding one or two. Our goal is to take over SEN with our activity, OpenSource policies, and mapping skills.

Sincerly,
Lulz.

Heh, I didn't know matt did programming =) Very cool.

Also, omit the whole clan taxing option. The point of a tax is to improve a nation, and taxing fake currency does nothing. The point of this site should be to support mapmaking, and that defeats the purpose.

As far as the whole voting to disban a clan, that's not a good idea as well. It's up to the leader.

Discussion in clans should definately contribute to one's minerals, because the conversation is activity, and the members are still expected to follow the board's inclusive rules. The forum's activity is still increased by people who chat in clan forums. Keep this in mind.

AKA the only forum they will be posting is in their own, and they will still be treated equal to those who do take time and endure the the patience it requires to accumulate minerals from being in multiple discussions in multiple sections of the site.

In the clans, there is a Transfer area, what is planned for this?

Also, could we get a column beside the list of ranks/members that would be a secondary information page, something we could make as long as we want... Unlike the splash.

IP, what would be considered a major clan in terms of a map making clan? Is their specifications? I already know about the map part, but something like members, activity, channel, ect...

On the first page of this thread, there is discussion about this. I don't think they've figured out what they want to do yet with the prerequisites yet, but it will most likely involve having a handful of active members, some forum activity, and some new releases every now and then (hopefully more often than not).

We live in a society.

Also, it should cost a lot of minerals (2000 maybe) to found clans. This cost is non-refundable for bullshit clans that get deleted.
Exceptions for those with the system disabled will have to be done by administration on a case by case basis.

Any character that I can only produce on a standard keyboard by holding down ALT and pressing a combination of numbers to achieve. (on a standard keyboard)
In addition to extended Unicode.
