My favorite cereal is Fruity Pebbles, although I haven't cooked a bowl in a long time.

They're best served chilled alongside a freshly cooked slice of wild bread. Slap some grits and Dixie cup full of lard on the side and we have ourselves some real fine dining.

We had Tequila Lime chicken last night It wasn't as spicy as I had hoped, for some reason I thought it would be, but I felt that adding cayenne pepper would detract from the delicious lime taste.

I totally screwed up the rice though. It was mushy and soggy. I suck at making rice, but not usually this much.

Do you measure the water before boiling? Or are you one of those crazy people who strain it?

No I measured it to the specification on the box (It was Rice a Roni, which I'm choosing to blame, because usually I just use straight up rice) and I only used what it called for as well as letting it boil, simmer, and set the right amount of time. :\

oo I love Rice a Roni. But I never pay attention to the actual times because they are never right. If there is too much moisture, I'd just leave it uncovered longer towards the end.

Steak in Worcestershire sauce and herbs and garlic...with a side of broccoli and long grain rice. It is actually quite delicious

A couple nights ago I made a really good stir fry with chicken and veggies. The basis of it was sesame oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce and a little teriyaki sauce, threw in three sarrano chilis - with seeds - and a bulb of garlic, roasted those a little while, added green onions and chicken, more rice vinegar and soy sauce, then the veggies (broccoli and snow peas) and then topped it with bean sprouts when it was done cooking.

It was sooo good; has a good kick to it too. The garlic and peppers really taste good together!
