You like her, you love her, what's the difference?

are you going out with her or are you just a creeper? The best gift is to not make yourself look ugly and be funny.

that is all

Depends on your age. But generally, you don't want to start giving her gifts out of the blue - you don't want to appear keen. To quote one of the biggest womanisers in Russia's history: "Чем меньше женщину мы любим, тем больше нравимся мы ей", i.e. "the less we love a woman, the more she likes us".

First step: you don't love her. You barely even know her. Telling a girl that you love her ends it, one way or another, unless you're like 12.

Assuming you're of age to be around by yourself, don't give her something, that's silly. Just invite her out to lunch some weekend and find something fun to do afterward if the date goes well: ice skating, tennis, whatever. Get to know her, see if she's actually the girl of your dreams, etc. If you're sure she likes you, no need to wait until a dance/prom/whatever, just be confident and don't mention anything even remotely related to StarCraft until you've been dating her for a month or two.

lolololololo

Just write her a note telling her that you have feelings towards her. I figure a note would be best since you pretty much asked for a way to confess your feelings to a girl without having to really do it face to face. I can't think of any actual object that wouldn't need to have some sort of note or message on it saying how much you care anyways, so save your money and just write a note. Text message or email w/e.

also post pics of her :D

This, definitely. The moment I saw "love" I immediately wanted to respond with just about everything FaZ said. You like her, she likes you, cool. Go on a date, have fun. I think one of the biggest issues guys have is that they think dates have to be proper and there's a set etiquette to follow. Nowadays, you can go have dinner and just have fun, be nice, and most importantly be yourself. People always say that, but it is so damn true. If you're going to make yourself out to be someone you aren't, you wont be able to keep that up forever, and the moment you stop acting, you'll destroy everything you've built up.

So yeah, TL;DR:
You don't love her yet, even though you might assume you do. Telling her this will freak her out. Even the paper heart thing may scare her off. You don't want to be too intense when you aren't even dating. Just ask her out on a date and have fun.

Relatively ancient and inactive

You can't love a person until you know them well. Until you know them well, it's mostly physical attraction. Work your way up, and, yeah, just listen to Faz.

Especially the part about mentioning starcraft. Never mention it as a pastime. D:

This. Also, MZ's advice blows. Also: Limerence.

I find it funny how everyone is giving or agreeing with the advice to be all ixnay on the craftstarnay. I was dating my last girlfriend for over a year and then I found out she totally digs Baldurs Gate and a bunch of other random old school classic games on her laptop. If playing video games is your hobby, let her know that. It'll be better than having no hobbies at all and just looking like a dork.

I was mainly agreeing with the rest of his post, actually. Although, I also think mentioning StarCraft right off the bat isn't a great idea. I'm sure he has hobbies besides StarCraft. If he doesn't then he's pretty unlikely to find a compatible girl.

Why would you want to say you love her?

[Girl likes me] -> I LOVE YOU ???

Calm down a little bit. If you know she likes you, tell her you're interested in her as well. No love stuff. As a rule of thumb, you will not know if you really do love her, until you've been with her for 6 months.

Three things:
1) men don't give out gifts hoping for a woman to return their love. You go out and take her, you don't ask for her or try to wooo her with gifts..that's a desperate move..you need a lot of work :/
2) how old are you
3) idk if you're as into picking up women as much as you are into starcraft, but if you're serious about it, go to this site first: http://sosuave.com/ Then look up the pick up artist "Mystery" and get his book, the mystery method....that is, if you want to improve yourself...

Show them your butt, and when you do, slap it so it creates a sound akin to a chorus of screaming spider monkeys flogging a chime with cacti. Only then can you find your destiny at the tip of the shaft.

No. Don't suggest stuff like that. It's not like Tempz is leaving us to follow his girlfriend.
