If there's a mediafire link to a SC2 replay, will you bother with it?

>be faceless void >mfw I have no face

I think I probably would watch a non-youtube replay if it was something really special and it wasn't available on youtube, but otherwise, youtube fo' me.

Red classic.

All the time. Especially because most amateur cameraman are absolutely terrible.

An artist's depiction of an Extended Unit Death

The way I see it is: if it's something special, someone will cast it.

Not mediafire. Only replay websites and procasts (Day9 ftw). /elitist >.>

Typically that's everything I'll watch relating to SC2. But I do download the odd replay to steal a build order or watch something in more detail. Shoutcasts are good for entertainment mostly, Day-9 takes that a bit further, but you can't 'really' learn without watching actual replays - ie: slowing it down, seeing exactly what they do and when and why - how they scout. Little details etc.

Lord of the Locker Room

If you hate the waiting and clicking part of sites like mediafire there's always jdownloader. Now the replay sites that require you to register to download - fuck that.

I only watch cast requests people send me and stuff posted on TL noted as funny.

Show them your butt, and when you do, slap it so it creates a sound akin to a chorus of screaming spider monkeys flogging a chime with cacti. Only then can you find your destiny at the tip of the shaft.

Ultraviolet -- Yeah, I suppose there's something to that

Oh_Man -- whereas just "press X to get 50 health back" is pretty mindless

Oh_Man -- because it adds anotherr level of player decision-making where u dont wanna walk too far away from the medic or u lose healing value

Oh_Man -- initially I thought it was weird why is he still using the basic pre-EUD medic healing system, but it's actually genius

Ultraviolet -- Vrael
Vrael shouted: I almost had a heart attack just thinking about calculating all the offsets it would take to do that kind of stuff
With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort
[2024-5-06. : 12:51 am]
Oh_Man -- definitely EUD
