You can also find midnight openings at various Best Buy and Gamestop locations.

I clicked the link to view the stores ... It's basically all of the Game Stops in my area. Best Buy's list doesn't make sense ... It says the only one in Utaj is Washington, which is like the tiniest possible place furthest from the largest, most populated area (where I live) .. ? Walmart's list indicates that the two largest Walmarts (one by my house and one right by my friend's house) will be having it.

If I did go to these it would mostly just be to hang out. I don't actually plan on getting it for a while ...

My friend went to the official Blizzard midnight openings for WoW: Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King, and said they were a blast. I imagine that would probably be the only fun midnight opening, though, otherwise you're just talking to a bunch of super fans for a couple hours.

Who are probably the kind of "fans" that eat up whatever bullshit Blizzard throws at them ...

There are so many Gamestops. D: If there weren't, I definitely would go. Maybe I'd meet some of my nerdfriends from school.
I could either go to the Walmart by my friend's house or the GameStop near that Walmart ... Pretty much everyone I know lives out there.

As far as I know, my area probably has too few people to make the event any fun, though there are two nearby GameStops running the event. It's just not worth going.

I can imagine a bunch of nerds lining up at the gamestops in the malls dressed up in marine suits and carrying gauss rifles. They'd probably have some battle in the mall square.

I'll be at one and I'll be repping SEN while there, hopefully get some people to check us out.

If I was going to get one I'd get one of my white T's and Write Staredit.net on the back and or front. If I had balls I would add the hurr face but I'm not that type of guy. Sadly theirs no reason for me to be there. If anyone can they should do something like this. D:

Too bad all those SEN shirts that people used to design were always turned down ... If we had them, we could wear them to such an event and it would be awesome.

I may go to the official Blizzard one near Irvine and I could try to rep us a little. Not sure if I will yet, though. I could get my Collector's Edition signed I suppose.

Sorry man. It's the motivation. If I had a reason to be there then fuck yea I'd sharpie "Staredit.net /Pushing starcraft to the limit" on a shirt and if their were people hanging out i'd join into groups and be like "hey guys, you guys wanna get your monies worth? Well then come to SEN" and i'd explain to them different SC2 maps in production in SEN. I think someone was making Ocarina of time or something like that here right? Man. I wish my comp didn't suck and I had money. Life isn't fair.

This got me thinking. I should just go to a midnight release to hang out and chat with local StarCraft/Blizzard players.
-And, hey, since it helps the site, I will bring SEN up in conversation. Maybe even coming wearing a Tee like MZ suggested.

It is a shame I will not be getting Wings of Liberty for awhile. I need a better computer first.
