Guys it seems i suck at taking pictures... This was the store when i walked in:
My friend who came with me, he plays as Dajayman and Party_Hat_Cat on sc1:
I randomly decided to take a picture of the strategy guide :
Those were the only non-blurry pix i took lol. As it neared the launch time I completely forgot to keep taking the pictures. It was a tough crowd to approach though, a few people were interested, the rest were talking about warcraft...
The point was to take pictures (or in RIVE's case, video) of you somehow promoting SEN at the midnight launch. Your picture of the guy in shorts, your friend, and SC2's box don't really achieve that. Sorry.
RIVE, on the other hand, kicked ass with his shameless promotion and minerals are on the way.
ADVERTISING FOR SEN IN FRONT OF STORES WITH PHOTOS AS PROOFS MIGHT BE REWARDED BY MINERALS! (not kidding, though... unless devlin doesn't want that)
You could have taken pictures of yourself outside a Gamestop with a cardboard sign that said "OMG GO TO STAREDIT.NET FOR YOU MAPPING NEEDS " and that would have sufficed. Hell, this all started because MadZombie said he was going to make a t-shirt with SEN on it to promote us, so hat's more what we were looking for. I don't think we expected video at all, which made RIVE's so much better.
I realize RIVE did a much better job then me at promoting but I think I deserve at least something for my effort. Not everyone can pull off RIVE's awesome act. I would NEVER have been able to carry a sign like that in front of a gamestop alone. I think by the time the expansion comes out I'll be able to attempt that stunt
Oh shit, Wing Zero your friend looks just like my brother! Except my bro is a little more muscular. The guy at my GameStop was being wierd. Here is our convo:
Me: I'd Like to buy sc2 please. -Okay. So why didn't you preorder? Me: Because I didn't mind if I got it on the day of release, or a week later. -But you could have gotten into Beta Testing. Me: Actually, I was in beta thanks to their FB page. It was pretty easy to get in actually. -Well you should have preordered, you could have gotten a strategy guide. Me: I don't need a strategy guide, I've been playing the Beta for weeks. -But you could be a pro! Me: Eh, yeah, I like your shirt. -Mhm, you could have gotten it if you preordered. Me: I don't want it... I just think it's cool. -Next time you should preorder Me: I can beat you 1v1. Now give me my game and change please.
He started saying something but I ignored him and started to talk to my girlfriend about Halo Reach... and the guy told me to preorder it... The same gamestop that asked me if I wanted to buy 20 different things for my wii. I don't go there anymore.
The whole conversation, as far as I could depict it:
Collapse Box
RIVE: NICK! What channel are you gonna be on? Nick: What channel? I'm thinking 'Eastern'. RIVE: You got.. a channel called "Eastern"? Nick: I donno. What channels are there? RIVE: You can make any channel you want. Nick: Ok. Um, I'm gonna name it the Awesome Channel. RIVE: Awesome Channel. I'll be on that channel. Nick: Ok. RIVE: See you online! Nick: Awesome Channel.. RIVE: Don't forget to checkout StarEdit dot net! Nick: Michaels Target? OK! We're naming it Michaels Target! Hey, Rich- Rich: Does that have a... Does that have an apostrophe in it? Nick: Wut? Ah.. Rich: [heh] Does that have an apostrophe in it? [heh] Nick: (To others) Does that have an apostrophe in it? Rich: Michaels-... Guy: No. [Bickering Between Them] Nick: Oh my God! We're going to name it... I'm naming it "CartridgeWorld" with no space. What? Rich: You wanna hang out? Nick: Do we wanna hang out with Rich? Guy: I gotta go home; I got work in the morning, early. Nick: We gotta go. Rich: You ssssux.. See you online!
[In Car] Rich: Ah fuck.. NOUGH! Fan Girl: I got sTaRcRAFT tw0! [Eh-Ah-Ah-Ah-AhA]
Keep in mind, I did not play the Beta, and did not know channels no longer exist.
Vrael -- It is, and I could definitely use a company with a commitment to flexibility, quality, and customer satisfaction to provide effective solutions to dampness and humidity in my urban environment.
Vrael shouted: Idk, I was looking more for a dehumidifer company which maybe stands out as a beacon of relief amidst damp and unpredictable climates of bustling metropolises. Not sure Amazon qualifies
sounds like moisture control is often a pressing concern in your city

Vrael -- Maybe here on the StarEdit Network I could look through the Forums for some Introductions to people who care about the Topics of Dehumidifiers and Carpet Cleaning?
