No, that wasn't the reason. He's overlooking all the evidence against Farty (based on something Farty said), to attempt to save Farty. Based on what? A "clue" Farty himself came up with, which isn't even consistent. 66% accuracy, wow, let's all change our votes quick. It's already been explained that both Apos and Farty could be mafia, where Apos has a bad role role and Farty has a good one, so they've decided to throw Apos under the bus in an attempt to save Farty from what was an inevitable lynching.

Mafia looking for ways to purposely misinterpret clues in order to change votes like this is Mafia 101. If you think Apos is so guilty, then try to lynch him on the next day. What reason would you have to try to overturn the current vote to lynch him now? The only difference is that you're saving Farty, and if you're a townie, you have no reason to do that.

I saw this coming a mile away anyways.

Here's more proof that Farty is mafia, along with all the other evidence against him already:

FACT: He said "obvious mafia is obvious" earlier, referring to me being mafia. He is sure that I'm mafia, supposedly.
FACT: When the above tactic didn't work, he PMed me saying he has a power role and will prove it if he survives.

I responded, if you say that publicly, I will change my vote and attempt to have people give you a chance to prove it. His response to this was, "I can't do that because if the Mafia know I have a power role then I'm dead." Uh, he just got done publicly saying that I'm Mafia, then he privately tells me something that would result in his immediate death if I really was Mafia?

The real reason is because he doesn't have a townie-aligned power role, and he knows I'm not in the mafia because he is.

Even more evidence against Farty (since people are willing to ignore common sense for clue interpretations ):

• Wing_Zero was killed by a predator with cloaking (i/e a DT) and as we all know 2 DT's make a Dark Archon (i/e Farty).
  
• In addition, it was specifically described that the enemy bled green blood, and everyone knows Farty always uses a green Dark Archon.

Is that enough clue interpretations for you, or do I need to add that Wing_Zero "knew he was in deep shit" right before he died?

Because shit is the closest thing related to farts? What is the clue going to be, "The man in the crowd was having bad gas"? Lol.

Anyways, that was the least important clue incriminating Farty. People are only focusing on that specifically because Farty himself made a post reinterpreting that clue, and people are like "alright, I'll ignore everything else and go along with a suspected mafia because of this."

There should be enough clue interpretations in this post to satisfy those people, though.

You should have been this involved before it became clear you were mafia, although all you've really said here is

"Cloaking can't relate to DTs! And bleeding green can't be a hint about me being a green DA because DAs don't bleed!"

I mean really, you went from only posting a single word reply when it was time to vote, to typing up page-long posts in your defense, attempting to undermine clues, and calling any behavioral analysis to point out common mafia indicators "arbitrary". You clearly don't have the best interests of the townies at heart, regardless of your role.

Look at my posts (compare to typical your post that I'm trying to counter (which would cause a direct correlation to how long my post would be depending on how much I am responding to in your post)). They increase in length as I'm trying more and more to call bullshit and defend myself.

Re-interpretation. You know, the whole point of the game? To interpret clues to try and see who they are referencing? Not to mention that I have to defend myself somehow. What else am I supposed to do? "Oh, they're trying to kill me. Oh-ho ho! Let's just sit back and see how that rolls out! Jolly good fun!".

They are arbitrary. Just because someone isn't actively playing doesn't make them mafia. Usually the mafia try to blend in as townies. "HIS SHOELACE IS UNTIED. HE MUST BE MAFIA!" What leads you to say that? If I'm the role I claim to be, then it is the townies best interest not to kill me; thus I am attempting to defend myself (including, as a last resort, trying to tell you my role). Which leads me to: how can I even attempt to work in the towns best interest if they're trying to kill me on day-fucking-two?
Also how is it the towns best interest for you to arbitrarily categorize a group of people and attempt to pluck them off one-by-one, stating that townies are expendable?

I have to agree with Farty on that, I have seen this kind of scenario happen way too often on epicmafia. Usually, someone that don't have much to say won't say as much as others. Usually the people that don't have much to say are to one that got some less important roles. The difference here is that we get a night report from devilesk so we can find clues. If you just can't find clues, you just wait for other people to find them for you. I'm going to guess that Farty wouldn't bother finding clues since other people were already doing that. Now that he is about to die, he has to somehow defend himself (Who wouldn't?)

I say that since Farty is up for lynching, he should probably try claim his role or do something to convince us that he shouldn't be lynched. According to my experience, when your being lynched, looking for clues to make you clean doesn't work as well since most people don't feel like changing their votes. Give a reason to make us change our vote.

I vote Farty. Never mind, I still need to think.

PS: Not sure if what I just said came out the same way I had in my head, but I guess it's fine like that.
