http://excelexcel.wordpress.com/2010/04/22/asthma-medicine-now-2000-times-more-expensive-than-gold/Rawr. I hate this. I can't think clearly at all and I'm fairly certain that it's not a placebo effect.
None.
Wow that is really scary.
That really sucks for you man.

I order you to forgive yourself!
I always had Asthma, but it never cost that much (At least in Canada).
Holy shit that's some bad medical malpractice. D:

If I were you I'd meet a good chemist and talk to him about it. =D

Or just try living with asthma. If you keep active, your lungs become healthier.
Granted I still get attacks from time to time, but I used inhalers as a kid, and they helped somewhat, but I always had pretty nasty attacks. Now I don't and I get out of breath less frequently and attacks are less severe.
None.
I just use an inhaler for when I actually have a problem ... Though the more I use it the more I need it, so I try to only use it as a last resort (first trying relaxing and deep breaths.)
... Though I'm often dizzy and lightheaded because I don't use any medications when I probably should.

TiKels' rule of thumb: Avoid most medication (some things should be taken). Only Tylenol, Motrin, or aspirin (In order) for varying degrees of pain. Too much Tylenol will kill you so if you need to take it every few hours, alternate between it and Motrin. Otherwise just steer clear of medication. It's one thing to take a drug that doesn't work, and another to find out years later: "Oh sorry, this drug lowers your life-span 20 years, oh well,
Tough Luck. "

But do you have asthma?
Pain you'd just tylenol, notrin, or aspirin for wont kill/hospitalize you. ... Asthma can (..if you have it bad enough.) My sister's been in the hospital many times because of asthma attacks (I, fortunately, only have a mild case of it.) ;o
-Singulair (Montelukast, a specific CysLT1 antagonist): $152.99 for 30 tablets of 10mg each, or $509.97 per gram
-Maxair (Pirbuterol [inhaler], a β2-adrenergic agonist): $139.99 for 1 inhaler of 80mg total, or $1749.88 per gram
I've used both of those. ;o Never had a problem as far as I can remember (except it was 6 years ago.)
Also I thought Nasonex was just an allergy medication?

They do prescribe Nasonex for Asthma as well for some reason. I don't think I have asthma (not exercise-induced asthma either), so probably a misdiagonosis.
