Hey guys, UnholyUrine here to see which hero you guys like the best.
I will be using this vote to see which hero I shall be paying the most focus on later on (and possibly affect hero carry overs in SC2... maybe
)
Note that you can vote Max 3Also...
Think Before VotingAlthough it's really your opinion, I just want to make sure you guys don't randomly vote, since I will most likely not have the luxury of a large sample size that'd vote in this poll.
Thanks

Just here for the activity... well not really
Assault - Firebat(v1.4M3.4 - M8T) and Phantom.

"Oh, I see it"
Dark Mage, Phantom (ftw), and Volt.
None.
Light Mage, Assassin, and Warrior. All toss. Also because i random one of them every time. Also because they can survive most situations.
None.
Mutant is the fastest hero, secondary to Mech's Bike Mode.
He grinds fairly easy. He sets up the most efficient ambushes. L4 for dodge/run.
Causes the most damage in the shortest amount of time, with a small amount of mana at that.
None.
Warrior, hes a great hero killer and he can take care of most of his enemies except DM, LM and Mech since when he transform he just pops out of his L2. He's fast, starts with high hp and two armor making him a great staller and you can expect a good warrior to mostly always capture the outpost he goes to.
I didnt vote for her (I messed up), but DarkMage is a favourite too for her variety of spells, Being able to Mael, Psi Storm, Ensnare, (Feedback?), cloak, ally the enemies to you, ensnare V.2.0(L3) and her roflol L4. she is useless alone but with her summon+Friends she set up ganks to near perfection. She is a great anti-melee and a great anti farmer too (Being able to kill her own creeps with storm). She becomes useless when it's time to attack the temple at the end but she remains a great defender.
Medic for her ability to get full hp without spending any points in it. In the early versions, as long as she survived till L4 it was probably a GG to the opposing team. Not a hero killer at all, shes still useful in fights vs spellcasters she also make the warrior kill anybody without trouble with her L2. (Warrior stun, she l2, warrior spam L2, dead. Although now his L2 changed, its still pretty powerful)
None.
archer, m8t only -> completely viable for dual ups now. l2 and l3 are actually useful. If you end up summoning, you can still up mutas and get l4, and not lose much.
Special ops, m8t only -> didn't vote for. Way underpowered at start, ridiculous damage/hp endgame.
warrior -> invincible endgame.
assault, any -> not played enough. M3- was all about neutralizing your enemy and double nuke. M4-M7 was all about stunlock with l1. M8 is pretty neat too.
"Parliamentary inquiry, Mr. Chairman - do we have to call the Gentleman a gentleman if he's not one?"
mech - lots of micro. micro is fun!!!!
spec ops - in m8, fun to pwn ppl or dodge with l3
summoner - ling micro!!!! i actually like playing summoner and being countered. takes more ling micro and is less dominating
None.
I wished the bar graph doesn't show as percentages, but as # of votes.. it'd look a lot neater.

Play v1.6 more
EDIT:
Oh right.. my votes
- Archer - Versatility
- Mutant - Speed and the satisfaction when you're able to do heavy dmg with L2
- Phantom - Hallus to trick ppl, and a good L2 again.
Not that I don't love all the heroes
None.
Mutant - one of the last classes I learned to play, and never the lurk-bombing mutant. It's tons of fun getting +5 att in the first 2 minutes of the game, and just straight up beat everything in dps. mutant and mech are micro intensive and rely more on how good you are, instead how bad they are.
Old Assualt - Probably the bigest reason I got into temple siege and cared to much about spreading it. Considered one of the worst classes, but I saw the potential and loved playing 2v3's with it. Had a fun armor spam build.
Summoner - pretty much with same as above, except that summoner was the first hero considered to be broken and off limits, but I never saw anyone doing the milking/farming of multiple lanes before me. I loved playing summoner in the early days, but even when MT came out, I felt it lost too much power, and really wasn't any good against good players. I never pick summoner anymore. It takes the most micro, and now it feels I'm only breaking even with other players when they are doing half the work I am.
Let me show you how to hump without making love.
I really like Medic, her potential is amazingly good for something to be built on later on in the future. The ability to lock out others from using their own abilities is priceless. She is a very unique hero that I want to see worked on.
Another hero I have always liked, is the Dark Mage. She is by far my best competitive hero and I very much enjoy playing her.
The last hero I like, is the Phantom. He was interesting in design and a very fun hero to play as well.
None.
Magic box god; Suck it Corbo
I voted for archer, sin, and warrior but I also really like the LM, DM, and Medic.
I think the Psion has potential but you need to work on it more
The mutant of course is my favorite due to its speed and great versatility. You can set it up so many different ways and although the l4 isn't as popular it sure is a beast and great use in some situations.
the volt is my second. I like all the stuns and mana drain. The l4 is a great skill to use as well.
the psion is pretty nice as well and is my favorite new hero which overtook the lurker as much as I liked him the game has changed quite a bit and I just don't think his spells are that balanced/controlable as they need to be. I like the psions mana drain and double l1 goon. The new l2 is nice as well but it needs to fire after so long so it can do something besides just drain mana. The l4 also needs some touching up. Beyond that I have really come to enjoy playing him although I find the phantom stronger.
None.
I voted Assasin, Warrior, Volt.
I like Assasin best because of it's ability to Escape hehe. Kidding. I like it's attack and they way it's almost always invisible during nighttime. This guy is awesome
.
Personally, Warrior is my favorite. Why you ask? Because of it's high health and attack, coupled with its immense speed make it a great newb-friendly character. Plus I learned with him.
The Volt is just plain awesome. Except when the other team has an Engineer + Vessel
. Other than that, it's spells are great to use against mana-based characters, and is good at taking out non-mana based heroes too. It's something to be careful around.
None.
I enjoyed phantom from 1.5, but his l3 was useless and a poor excuse for a stun, and his l4 was virtually impossible to target. about all you can do is spread out all the hallus, and hope they come within range. l1 was fun, but really only as a damage soaker for spawn. l2 was key, and at 50 mana for a dodge/massive attack, it's quite useful.
Archer's l2 in 1.6 is still, for the most part, useless. The best it does is kill broods/lings via sunkens, and give free exp to higher levels. I've never really used spores effectively, though I assume it's pretty good at defending base vs nuke (irrelevant now anyway). The best you can do is nydus to all 3 bases, allowing you quicker heals and much faster map movement. Extractors for cheaper assims would be nice. If sunkens/spores DIDN'T give exp, I think they would be used more (after all, why not?). However, it seems hard coded into people's minds that using archer's l2 in m8t when they are getting l3 (guard) is a bad idea because it can feed. What they don't understand is that it also can quintuple your normal damage, and allow you to pretty easily kill DM, much like a summoner. Shoot, you don't actually have to use your archer to kill spawn when you have 5 companions sitting near the cannons.

What...phantom l3 was ownage in 1.5....I hated that spell when vsing phantom.
Red classic.

First, to hook the person, you have to be pretty close. Second, once you hook them, if they're faster than 4 (nearly all heroes) you can just run the opposite direction to get out. That means you have to just leave it there for a semistun. The hook doesn't last long either, so it's 80 gas for a stun which only costs 50 for assault, and is arguably better since it kills other units too.
