Official Terrain Competition -- Round 21

Simply recreate one of these two maps from StarCraft II.

The third one is not valid due to the fact it uses dirt on the terrain on a Space Platform

Just here for the pie

I didn't ask you to entirely use my format, just the "winners from the past" thing :P.

I think you should change the topic. Though it's a good one, I don't think it properly allows people to be creative.

Some ideas for topics:
  • Swamp
  • Underwater
  • Office
  • Airport
  • Dark alleyway
  • Skating rink
  • Arena
  • Freestyle (anything you want)
  • Drive-in movie theater

Terrain, balance is up to the voters and contestants. However, absolutely identical placements would be nice.

If everyone is okay with the change of theme, then maybe. Although I don't like the idea of interrupting in-progress entries by Excalibur and those that entering their entry anonymously. Some people submit entries without mentioning that they are participating.

The sword and the faith

You're all a bunch of cowards. This theme is different, something that's never been done before, and with SCMD's mirror tool at your fingertips, you should be taking it in stride.

It's not people being cowards, it's the fact that you're limited to reproducing one of two things. You're almost guaranteed to get the same results from some people. The terrain competitions are there so that people can be creative and do what they will.

Not true. I've seen one Kulas Ravine remake from SEN DLDB, and after what Excalibur said, I've seen two more of Kulas Ravine remakes. They are all different, aside that all have a similar layout.

I actually want to do this; this will be fun. I don't mind that other people have done it before.

mirror tool!?

It draws the same thing as if reflected along the middle axis. Look for "Mirror X, Y, Z" in SCMDraft.

Note that it is only working for pure isometric terrain ;)

I don't want to have to revive it for the umpteenth time. Since you came in a close second last round, I think you should be the one to start a new round.
