Regarding the Shark I have a complaint. All the stories only say the general news, and obvious situation. ''Man kills Shark, survives.'' I don't mind at all if someone kills an animal out of defence, obviously because that's survival of the fittest. At the same time however, there is nothing stating his reason why he is there, for all we know he could've been there for no reason.

(I never knew that, I only know a lot on land animals) I'm a whiny animals rights person my self, *don't worry, I'm not with peta lol* but I know there is no point in bitching at the guy if he was just doing something innocent like hunting for food. In perspective, he's a lot better then the brutal Chinese people who fish out a shark only to cut it's fins off, to throw the rest of it's body out into the sea and leave it die. They do it for selfish reasons, profit, and they also clearly discredit the sharks life. As for the man had done it to save his friend, and himself the reasons were definitely understandable, so I cannot quite understand why people would disdain him for trying to live.

Not really... When you catch a fish like that, generally you weigh it. We caught some halibut and weighed it, despite it not being anything terribly interesting or large.

Did anybody say they were
all huge? Look at the rest of the graph... Over half of the
species are > 1m, and about a third are > 2m. Also, we should take into consideration the % all tuna each of those species are and which are more commonly fished, if you feel the need to get overly technical.
