Hi, is it possible to load a custom colour palette on to gmax? Or can i save a model as a bmp?
I cant speak english very good, and so i dont know every function of gmax.
None.
i still wait for replys...
None.
I'd suggest asking on a gmax oriented forum. Very few people (if any) here use gmax.

There's a rendering plug in for gmax that I'd expect no less from it than allow you to render and output frames in .bmp format.
Other than that, you'll have to, most likely, use Photoshop, gimp or a somewhat advanced image editing software to apply the pallete to frames.

Or just paste the image into Paint? Paint is actually pretty good at choosing which colors should be what.

I forgot.
But yeah, that'd work too. Just make sure the bmp you are pasting it into is 256 color bmp or if you could just extract a frame from an already palleted grp from starcraft would work much better and more secure.
fuck you all
i always just paste over a decompiled bmp of an sc unit and it always works fine. (I asume thats what you are doing)
But i use gmax and i like it
