I was wondering if anyone could give me a quick walkthrough on how to render materials using the rendering plugin for gmax. It renders as a different color with the material applied, but as a solid color rather than a texture. Maybe I just missed a checkbox somewhere or something.

Well I figured out how to make the textures work, but they only work on standard primitives like boxes, spheres, and cylinders. So I can't edit the shapes at all if I want to texture them. Is there a way to texture compound objects or standard primitives after tappering or mesh editing and such?
