We all know how it would be useful if we could center locations on Scanner Sweeps, yet Blizzard in their infinite wisdom decided to make this not work. I had the idea to petition Blizzard to change this in an official patch, probably along with other changes like fixing the chatfuck introduced in the new patch. If you would like to join the petition, post "I SIGN". Also, create this thread on all the SC sites you are on. I will also be making a "petition clan" soon: PM me if you want to join, then apply the tag once I invite you.

EDIT: And from now on, please only post "I sign", and /nothing/ else. If you guy want a discussion thread, I can make one. This is only for signing now though.

Better yet, make dark swarms belong to a player. Though scanner sweeps would be awesome too.

Basically, this sounds like a big "F*** you" to everyone who has ever actually had to use some effort to work around SC's limitations in making a map. Besides, most of the entertainment in making SC maps is the challenge in overcoming the limitations set for us. If that's not your thing, there are plenty of more flexible ways to make games out there, and you're welcome to go use one of those; don't wreck it for the people who like SC as SC by messing with the conditions of the project.

Actually, when there are no limits in the create-your-own section of a game I don't know what to do with it. Limits in StarCraft give me opportunities to work around and help me create a map.
