My join date for SEN is Dec 31 1969, 7:00 pm.
I think SEN has come alive and is trying to seduce me. (Who Wouldn't Want To?)

Moving on...

I wanted to see my Post/Day ratio, but noticed it was 0.00, and I looked and saw my join date was screwed up. I believe it may be due to the fact of my unique joining. Unlike most users, I was not added via an activation E-mail. Due to an error at the time of my joining, no E-mail was sent. I inquired to an administrator (who it was, i forget) as to why there was no E-mail, and they replied that they would simply add me in directly. I forget exactly when i joined, but it was late in '08.

I would like this fixed somehow, or maybe not... it's pretty sexy.
Anyone else have this problem?
Should I actually have this problem fixed?
Did i play SC before SC existed?
Edit: As an added note, does this affect the whole "Regular, Veteran, Etc" status?" I'd like to think I am at least a "Regular" >.<

ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

regular/vet/elite is based on activity of when it was first implemented, and the Admins' discretion. I hope it will become automatic at some particular activity number (150 for reg, 400 for vet, admin approval for elite, for example).

O_o if rockz system was implemented, I would be nearly a vet.

I have 579 activity and am a regular... I also have made several maps, more than just the one in the database, and I'm still not a veteran...
I've been with SEN since 05...

The only thing I could do more for SEN would be to post more in mapping assistance... but I never get to people's posts in time... others seem to always have answered in seconds...

I just gave up on the ranking system because it's heavily weighted on whether the admins like you or not, but it has no benefits really...

I never thought all this minerals or ranks or anything at all promoted elitism. It sounded like a ton of garbage to me. I wish they didn't change things but meh...

Apparently Tikels must've joined SEN back when the internet was government only. Tikels is Government pig.

For whatever reason, no time was written to the database when you joined. If the time field is '0', the ISO standard is to count seconds (plus/minus leap seconds) from the beginning of the Unix Epoch, 01/01/1970 00:00 UTC.

You should probably get your join date fixed, but it really doesn't affect much.

Maybe your future self time-traveled?

When that time comes again, be sure to punch Titor in the face for me. Thanks!

You are currently set at GMT -5, correct?

And I'd be one too. 557.

OVERWATCH STATUS GO

I'm a Vet with 509. I'm pretty sure it has more to do with what the Admins think of you rather than what number represents you.

When they were first implemented (on v5) you were a regular due to your post count. Likewise, there were no elites (JaFF and DTBK are now). I think the limit whoever coded it required 1k+ to be vet, which I don't think you were at the time, as well as some activity number, which you probably had.

Honestly, I find it scary how I've been here almost every day for well over 2 years.

did you join in v4 or less or v5? If v4, Doodle has your join date archived, I think.

Ehm, I'm unsure but if I am not mistaken it was v5 that I joined originally...

We live in a society.

Do you remember if you were able to complete registration and account validation?
Because sometimes, when I am feeling nice accounts get validated manually when the e-mail gets fucked up and don't set the join date when I do.

He couldn't validate his account if an email wasn't sent, could he?
