Without completely butchering the balance of the game, I'm looking for Oblivion mods that will enhance my playing experience, I am currently downloading OOO and the Unofficial Oblivion Patch, since I hate the monster-leveling system. Stuff like awesome re-skins, good custom guilds, and more variety to weaponry (No rigged shit though).

With that said, any similar mods for Morrowind are also welcome, since I really love the dark atmosphere of Morrowind.

Thanks in advance,
Deathman101

Could there be anything useful here? I haven't looked trough it yet, but I suppose I should do so, then maybe I'd want to play the game some more :)

Isn't that the only kind Oblivion has?

Morrowind > Oblivion
Well, Gameplay wise.

I agree, there are things I like about Oblivion though too. The only real problem is how you basically get your ass whooped even harder with every levelup, which really doesn't make me want to play.

Jeez, just turn the difficulty down. The only way I've died on my main (lvl 38) is by falling. But then again, I've played most of the game on the easiest difficulty level and been sneaking around with a bow :rolleyes:
When it comes to Morrorwind, I did buy it about half a year after the first time I tried Oblivion, however I just haven't been able to play it properly because of the bad outdated graphics, in addition to the feeling that it takes 30 swings with a sword to kill a rat.

2 actually, you just have to spec Sword as a major. Them damn rats know how to dodge a sword.

I always liked the unlimited inventory mod, since I never much cared for the weight system in Oblivion (if I make five trips and waste an hour of my life, I can pick everything up!).

I can't play Oblivion yet, mainly due to the fact of an outdated computer. :><:
Deathman, if you know where I can get a relatively cheap computer in Ontario... tell meh

👻 👾 👽 💪

I've not played Oblivion yet. :O I need to install it, but I'm lazy.

Is Oblivion modding much the same as Morrowind modding? Ifso, I'm all for that.

I've started playing Oblivion using Oldblivion and it runs at around 20 FPS on my X3100 Integrated video card, 3GB Ram, and Core 2 Duo =D. It's pretty fun. I'm a Witch Hunter ^^.

On oblivion mod manager, I've got:
Color Map Mod
Female EyeCandy (underwear)
*Texture Noise Replacement
Landscape LOD replacement
*MM-No more annoying Messages
*Better Water
*And another thing which decreases the size of inventory items (so you can see more on one screen).
The starred ones are VERY worthwhile, especially the better water. No longer do you have outrageous difficulty seeing underwater trying to find that jade necklace or the Bravil Trapdoor.

I get 20 fps in Bravil/Leyawiin, everywhere else is much higher (not oldblivion).

@Hercanic - That's why you only pick up the light stuff, and only a few copies of each so it's easy to sell to train mercantile.

Me again, I've gotten a huge PC overhaul, and now I'm yearning some graphical changes. I'm fairly certain QT3 is the best I can get, and I'm impressed with it, but my problem now is that it leaves out the following:
* Clothes, armor, weapons, creatures, NPCs

* Foliage, the sky

* Kvatch, the Arena, and the Oblivion realm

If anyone could recommend some mods to fill any parts of the void, I'd greatly appreciate it.

If anyone could recommend some mods to fill any parts of the void, I'd greatly appreciate it.

* Items, Creatures, and NPCs

* Weather, vegetation

* Sorry, but I couldn't find any texture improvements for those spots.

Also, here's a list of some visual mods that I use: (btw you need Oblivion Mod Manager to install some of these.)

Koldorns LOD Noise Replacer - reduce blockiness in distant landscapes.
* Added installation script to select low/medium/high variants.

Reduced LandscapeLOD Textures - Improved textures and normals for distant landscapes.
* Too large to put here and require no installation scripts. In OBMM; select create, add archive, edit name/version, create omod.
* I use the BTQ1024 (textures) and QN1024 (normals) versions.

Illumination Within Revived 9.3 - Nicer city lights.
* Updated with Illumination Within Revived Optimized 1.1
* added installation script to advise and select which varient to install.
* Bumped version to 9.3.

Interior Light 0.95 - Makes interiors dark in the night and the light in day.
* Built with readme and screenshot.
* Added install script to enforce loading after UOP.

Natural Environments 2.1.4 - Improves habitat, vegetation, water, and weather.
* Added install script to select options and enforce loading after UOP.
* Applied Natural Weather Unoffical Patch
* Removed legacy support *.esp's and optional HUD changes.
* Renamed *.esp files for consistency and compatibility with Storms Lightning Sounds mod.
* Bumped version to 2.1.4.

Storms Lightning Sounds 2.9 - Adds thunder and lightning that can be heard indoors.
* Added install script to autodetect options and enforce loading after UOP, SI, and NW or AWS.
* Too big to put here, omod conversion data only. In OBMM; select create, add Storms Lighting Sounds archive, add conversion data archive, select "yes" to import omod conversion data, create omod.

Get Wet Update - Adds a wet look when raining.
* Already in OMOD ready archive.
