Speaking of the Terabyte, during the 2008 Superbowl game, one of my friends was browsing through dell.com and he found a 1.5 terabyte external for only $82. He and my other friends were like HOLY SHIT DUDE I'M SO GETTING THAT! A few days later, they took it down saying that it was a price mistake and cancelled all the orders my friends made (they got their money back though).

When I was looking into harddrives you can already buy a 2TB hdd... It costs about $2000, though.

This computer I'm on right now has about 1.25 terabytes on it, There's 3 internal harddrives, two are 500 gb, one is 250 gb, and I also have an external one from one of my old computers with 80 gig on it, the only reason I see for more than like 200 gb, is if you are doing movies, otherwise there is really no need for it, we just need faster processing.

On a side note, is the rate of progress on new processors slowing down? It seems like instead of making faster ones, all the companies are just sticking them together, i.e. Dual Core. Oh noez?
