Are you sure about that?

First off, if you don't like the kind of music I listen to, please, don't flame. I know that my concept of music isn't exactly "good" , but I don't need to be reminded :P

Well, the thing is that I'd like to obtain some music, since I've been listening to the same bands as ever lately. I listen to a certain variety of Rock sub-genres. Nevermind the weird videos, the bands I like are:

1- Nightmare. Great Visual Kei band, they are ever changing, since some songs are really heavy compared to other ones. Examples:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dd_GEBQNby4 - A random song
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8YrD548X1E - A quiet song
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vMsVaIP38gg - The song that blasted them off into success.
I couldn't find a hard song in YouTube =(

2- Coheed And Cambria. A good Progressive Rock band. I personally preffer their latest album.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKCpFvRrk30
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bdDKIrUNjw

3- Panic! At The Disco. Cool guys. They mix some sound effects in their songs. However, they screwwed up BADLY in their second album :( SO, I only like their first cd
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oYPUquPEr8Q&feature=related - FAVORITE. SONG.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUXOhHTscks - Nice song

4- 30 Seconds To Mars. Really nice guys. These are supossed to be between Progressive Rock and Alternative Rock. But to be honest, there aren't that progressive to me. They're also great at making music videos.
- Slightly heavier songs-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwMxb0NXXyo
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEWuP7bgqr8
-Lighter songs-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qF1wZQzpeKA
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5uSu2fTIOQ

5- The Used. I really don't know what to say about these guys. They jump on similar sub-genres of rock constantly. ALthough their songs will speak best of them.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hlw_0ZYRyqU&feature=related - Heaviest of their songs. IT ROCKS SO FUCKING MUCH.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZlTMFz1PsPU - A song I really like. it isn't that heavy tough.

6- Incubus. I don't know what to say about these guys either, since I don't know them that much. Well, I really like their latest album.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zxPcmi1U25g - A song I like for some reason. It's like... The anti-thesis of Sound Effects and Overdramatic, but I just love it! These guys are real pros.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Z8cnXVGm1I - One of their greatest hits.

7- My Chemical Romance. Yeah, I know that about a 99% of you hate them. Even I admit taht their latest album was designed for emos. However, their 2 first productions were not that comercial.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJXh-W2_Q0g - One of my favorite songs.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWbFUAKOUyw - BACK TO THE BEGGINING. This is the 100% commercial-free My Chemical Romance. They were much, much more darker those times.

For now, I am being pushed to play an online game :P So, I' can't test out The Rasmus right now. Do they stick to my standards? Also, what other groups do you thinik I could also listen to?

Yeah... you wouldn't like the music I listen to.

None.

Are you sure about that?

Metal? Metal is cool, UNLESS it is excessively heavy, as T-Mastaa's metal. Nothing against him though.

Not exactly. Mostly foreign bands, like E Nomine/Rammstein from Germany, a ton of Russian bands, and then you throw in some like Serj Tankian and Panic at the Disco. My playlist is really weird. I even have a soviet-era bard in there :P.

One you might like is Serj Tankian. After listening to his songs a few times (ie moar then once) you really start liking his style. Also, I highly recommend E Nomine. I don't understand a word of what they say, as it's a mix of German and Latin, but damn it, they have the most epic music in the world.

Panic at the Disco is ew. :X I don't like most (havn't heard of a few) of these bands.
I enjoy other types of rock, and I enjoy metal (but not so much death/satanicwhatevers.) I really enjoy fast music. :D

Actually, I just like music not being slow.

Metallica's first album, Kill 'Em All, is fun. I really like this album, but as you go through them, they get more and more fail. ...And Justice for All is the last album that has any songs that I'll listen to, and the black album (and following albums) are fail.
Phantom Lord
I'd post more, but my internet is fail.
Motorbreath, No Remorse (For all you Doom fans this tune should sound familiar. :P Lots of metal was used in the soundtrack. <3), Metal Militia, and more.

... Now I want to play Doom. :C I don't know where the disk is, though.

I will keep it in mind. I don't actually like it a lot, Metallica rocks indeed, but I really keep my current favorites :P Although my older brother will make an excellent use of them.

Ya. They made some songs better. Though I don't like some of them, still...

Circa Survive (My favorite band.)
Act Appalled http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UIPH5qpbgro
In Fear And Faith http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjLJf8YIZmU

Boys Night Out (I only like their Trainwreck album.)

Taking Back Sunday
MakeDamnSure http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xROOXmyXRvY
180 By Summer (Live, amazing performance, reccomend this highly.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24CYh-4m89M
A Decade Under The Influence http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8zQYEJK7MA (Personal favorite.)

He Is Legend (I dont like their new album, Suck Out The Poison, but everything else of theirs is good. Especially their first EP, 91025.)
The Seduction http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-SiDge4hBU

I also have to insist that Coheeds earlier albums, especially Second Stage Turbine Blade, are far more win. :P

Not very... The most popular radio stations here play that music. Hell, The Used is even from around here.

Well, from where I come from, the first album by My Chemical Romance isn't even known of. Coheed and Cambria is a complete stranger. 30 Seconds to Mars is quite known here... The Used is completely unknown... Not to mention Nightmare :P People will stare at you weird if you listen to them :P Panic! At The Disco became uber popular after releasing their second album, which is comparable to pile of shit when in front of their first album. They became like, The Beatles :P Unlike your USA trendy kids, I am not a common person in my country. And I like that. I like it so fucking much that I love to listen that music in front of anyone, because they didn't even know it existed. Oh, and Ex, I'm listening to each of the songs right now. Circa Survive is hitting the nail really hard.

I think the worst thing about Circa Survive is how good they are. I honestly cant find another band like them and it pisses me off because they only have two albums and a small EP. XD

What about Saosin? And as you may have realized I like loud things :P Therefore I like No World For Tomorrow more than any of the other C&C albums.

Anthony Green, lead vocalist of Circa Survive, was in Saosin and was lead vocals there. After he left, Cove, who took his place, wasnt in my opinion nearly as good, and so i cant really listen to them.

Well sure, but i dont think that exactly counts. Limited material obviously. And now that they dont have Anthony, i think they might as well just stop too.

Edit: Reminded me of another band.
From First To Last (Their new vocalist sucks hard, but their older stuff is good.

Uncommon video, The Seduction :P Hmmm do I sense these guys are too screamy for you? It makes me wonder why you know about them. But, oh well, it could simply be that you know them and you know I don't mind screams *points at Sound Effects and Overdramatic*
