Heh... I like how the mouse is put into a specific spot each time the terrain changes. ^_^

What? He showed me in game.
I don't know how adjusting terrain could be usable. Unless you like place non-buildable terrain in a defense map just to fuck them over. Anyways... google = colony on mars? Didn't they just do moon base last year? |

The stackable building thing is that thing where you preplace two+ stacked buildings and remove one... I've already talked to him about it (and he claimed nobody knew about it because he asked Yoshi and IP about it and they didn't know. Two people who don't map much... great references.
)It is already used with invisible bunker maps, and should be well known... it isn't very useful because it only allows one building to exist on each tile per unit removed. So you'd have to have a large stack of preplaced units and remove one, build one, etc. each time for it to do anything. |

Is changing terrain in game real or fake? And if so explain how to in detail?

I doubt it. Unit unplaceable errors return the pixel location while terrain uses tile location. Is there even a Modify Unit Counter action?
EDIT: No there isn't. Post the map or it will be dismissed. |

The "vision stacking" has truth to it and is already used in maps. He just didn't explain it in full.
Did he show the terrain changing in-game, IP? |

It's actually very real.
I've seen both of those glitches in game, believe it or not. The first one I just saw it and the vision stack, hell I stacked some myself

unless the terrain cannot be mixed in maps I only would have believed that you could research something to change the whole tileset ingame.
but changing single tiles to tiles out of other tilesets will be impossible forever unless you create your own terrain in a mod and you find a way to change tiles to another one in the tileset. |

WCIII's editor can do it. The current version of dota, *Ungh, I actually tried it again recently and still hate it...*, has a random terrain at the start of the map. |

Or maybe he's using double reverse psychology. He's posting this on April first because he wants us to believe it'd be too obvious as an april fool's joke and that it's actually real, BUT, it's actually a joke. Sry I couldn't resist. |
