We need to have a tutorial on how to make a starcraft GRP with a 3d modeling tool. Like, how to make a model and render it facing each direction.

You use blender, right?
The tutorial is right now gmax/3ds max. I think anim8tor would fit here too but I still have to poke it better.
If you use blender then you'll have troubles because I've messed with it with poiuy and it's just weird :P
But if you use blender I'll see what I can do.

wonder if I can post images yet

a small, low-poly (870 tri) tier 1 fighter craft, modeled after Wolf's ship from Star Fox - the Wolfen. Since I lacked any good references I made the midsection entirely original and off of memory. It doesn't look very similar, now.

It has two side laser ports and the forward section will boast a plasma cannon. I modeled this guy with the intention of having a skin bring out the most detail, even though Scourge appear as mostly shiny black. I may make a larger, more complicated and canon-like version for tier2 or tier3 in the future.

This is a simple, 952 triangle low-poly tier1 model for the Scourge designed to be used in very large numbers.

Canon-wise, these scarabs are about the size of a large tank, such as the Challenger III or a T80. Their twin plasma cannons present a moderate threat to ground forces, however their true selling point is extremely tough defense. They are more than a match for standard Asthurr ground forces and they can dance toe-to-toe with small Anahn tanks. However, they are very slow, and completely defenseless from air threats.

^ A WIP. Tentacle monster, t3 experimental unit. So far has two heavy rotary guns, a gravity-claw tentacle and a beam tentacle, plus twin anti-atmospheric cannons, gravity eye, and lightning cannon.

These aren't mine and they aren't really modelling, but they're 3D nonetheless. They're from the unfinished Three Kingdoms Mod by NirvanaJung.

thanks for findout my losted post what i was post here :)
and i made those images with low polygons for Optimizing process becuzz Starcraft is based on 2d sprite
unit size is pretty limited That’s why real modelling is inefficiency so that looks like 2d graphic

btw, if u guys want see unavailable view pictures just click "no thumnail available" marked image
then that goes actual pictures

no i have been out of working Threekingdoms Mod , i have been creating Golf courses for TigerWoods PGA tour game title, working for
World of Warcraft custom Graphics of UI and i have been played StarCraft rabidly with Zerg race to master zerg playing as Pro gamers :D

but now i tired at there, and i thinking its about time for me to take a new interest in Threekingdoms Mod

However, i didnt make a time plan and i didnt open anything even previous Threekingdom Mod's files :lol:

no im not a pro gamer but i think that i dont have a big gap between the fundamentals of them
but Actualy small gap makes game aspects to meet so different

btw, my percentage of victories is about 83% (all 1 vs 1 matchs in league maps)

Yeah, you're right about the small gap. That's what makes pro games so interesting.

Have you participated in any tournaments? Maybe I should keep an eye out for your name. :P

what kind of tournaments do u asking ? there r bunch of tournaments in korea
if u asked about official Korea Pro game league, im not a pro gamers so i havent participated and i couldnt
but i have participated some temporary tournaments before but that was just a event

a lot of those models seen on the first page seemed pretty damn basic, but i like a lot of the maps you used, I would post something of mine on here, but I only ever do my work at school, so i have none on here ;(

I may make one sometime soon...

WoW they all are nice!
But the very first 6 pictures (the machine with 3 legs and the "flying head") remember me to Meteroid 2 Prime Echoes!
Its a final boss at the third section (high Capital) It's name is Quadraxis and it really powns ;P
