Well of course the chicken came first. God created all the animals on the earth, so chickens would be apart of that.
Quote from from the website
God has chosen to allow extreme violence, evil, destruction, war, disease, and famine on his "beloved" earth. Rather than take measures to eradicate it as quickly as possible, he has chosen to remain hidden and silent and watch the suffering instead. He has the power to stop evil, but has chosen not to.
When you go to surgery, don't you have to endure pain but the end result is your much more healthier. Same applies with such suffering.

I can see this starting to turn into a religious debate, so I'm going to back out now. This is not the place.

I'd rather this not turn into a religious debate, it always degenerates into people just endlessly arguing, obviously not getting anywhere since they're so convinced of their beliefs. TAKE IT UP THROUGH PMS

Most people don't believe that, yunno.

I'm a Christian, and I believe in the seven day creation. Evolution is completely irrational, and I'm ready to back that up.

And, of course, if evolution isn't true... :|
Well, I have to say I'm curious exactly how evolution is irrational so if you could please 'back that up', I'll try to be open minded...

Define the scientific method. Then define evolution. You'll see incompatibility.

I don't understand why atheists are always like Fuck that religion! And fuck this one!. If they don't believe anything, they should atleast respect other's. I think the main reason why Christian are targetted is because they are such closed minded and ignorant. I'm Christian and I don't really know much but other people claim they are and they never even touched the bible before. Those are the ones that gives us Christians a bad reputation by saying Homosexuality is bad! Abortion is bad!, etc. The New Testament is where Christians should actually learn. Jesus said to love everyone, including Homosexuals. About Abortion, if God created the world, then he knows what he created. I beileve in humans having souls and in my opinion, aborted babies weren't even meant to be born, and if it is born, then it is. I believe in evolution in some aspects such as survival of the fittest and adaption, and mutation and such, there is how us humans are immune to some diseases and eventually will be immune to others. But I do believe in the 6* day creation theory. The 7th was when he rested******

You think evolution is irrational, but an omnipotent being creating the universe in six days isn't? That's the most retarded thing I've ever heard.

I don't get it; how can that be irrational. That's like saying someone can't put together a really hard jigsaw puzzle in 1 hour and rest on the next hour.

I guess if you already have the aptitude to believe an omnipotent being exists it wouldn't be that much of a stretch to think of it that way... but you're throwing caution to the wind in the name of any science at all with that opinion. It's quite ridiculous. [/being generous]

I think it should be clear that atheists specifically believe there is NO god, they don't believe nothing. Agnosticism is closer to what you're describing, but it's more of being unsure of anything.

I love how you ignore that fact that most of SEN's Intelligent base finds that irrational. Humans evolved to their current brain capacity, let's not waste it on irrational thinking and ignorance.

Pretty much, although I really can't imagine what made some carbon join together and say, "Hey, let's be alive." :P

Phospholipids spontaneously form the exact same thing as cell membranes in water, because of their hydrophobic tails and hydrophilic tails. All it takes is a couple proteins and some polysaccharides to get stuck in there for a while and bam, a cell.
