I just found this and thought it was really cool that there's a GUI program that can generate EUDA triggers. Even editing the command card has been figured out: http://cafe.naver.com/edac/42625 (skip to 4:00 in the video)

Is anyone down to write a similar program here?

File here

To download the program, click at "첨부파일(1)" on the right side of the article, and click the "내PC 저장" button.
File is too big to upload here. (About 8MB)

Of course the tool itself is korean. Maybe needing some kind of translation?

If it used dialog resources it would be really easy, but it doesn't so it's hard to find the text in the EXE because I don't know how to find korean characters in a hex editor. :/

I actually uploaded it to SEN: http://www.staredit.net/sc1db/file/3518/

I attempted to translate the binary file, but it's impossible to do any useful translations because there isn't enough room for English translations. For example, "지상무기" would require 8 bytes (ignoring any zero terminator) while "Ground weapons" would require 28 bytes.

Now I'm curious as to how that worked out

Have I missed something in all this reborn hype? I thought EUD actions require the EUD Enabler to run which makes it more akin to modding as you have to agree with whoever you wanna play with that you all run the same program.

Is it possible to run EUD enabler on Fish or ICCUP?

Yes maybe, modding and eud are very similar. I'm targeting only those who has eud enabler running already.

There are some differences btw eud and pure modding, such as whether custom modding can easily be deployed over b.net. Also as far as we know, EUD act as safe sandbox for non-hackers fairly well.
Our eud technology is highly tied to wLauncher. It provides some security patches for well known sc vulnerability. So they are safer than pure dll.

EUD is the only portable solution I know of which satisfies all the mentioned requirements. If there is another one, that would be awesome.

Let me show you how to hump without making love.

Question, how do I make a unit use something out of the image tags in place of it's original sprite? Let's use Lockdown's Small Overlay as an example, replacing say, a Wraith.

Guess you can blame Ohman and myself, I have always liked EUDs.

All I really want to make is an RPG that has more to it than upgrades at regular intervals. Having some new aesthetic options is a huge plus, so I am toying with that.

None.

SCMLoader could do a lot of stuff in a much simpler way, and since EUDA's require an external activator its almost the same to just use SCMLoader, or both at the same time.

that real-time editing with triggers, though. SCMLoader can't do that.

Of course, that's why I said both at the same time :P I could be wrong, but I find that a lot of EUDA's are used to do things that SCMLoader could do way easier (like dat changes and new GRP's). That would leave more time to work on the awesome effects that actually required EUDA's, like that day/night cycle system.

Vrael -- not really two-party-system specific but it was kinda a big deal when those old guys wrote about "unalienable rights" and that stuff
[08:54 pm]
Vrael -- Oh_Man
Oh_Man shouted: basically i'm saying two party systems sap the violence out of a population by giving them the illusion of choice, instead of feeling the need to rebel, they just say "well i'm not voting for you next time"
you kinda missed those minor details about how fundamental rights are baked into democratic systems so you actually have power to change the system (to whatever degree you wanna argue), whereas in other systems your only option is "no u", aka it's not an illusion of choice
[08:52 pm]
Ultraviolet -- what are you trying to accomplish here?
[08:51 pm]
sraw531 -- similar to how people farm scarabs.
[08:50 pm]
sraw531 -- was toying with the thought of trying to get a computer to continuously make nexi in the corner of the map and have triggers remove it occasionally, but I honestly don't know how to do that.
[08:48 pm]
Ultraviolet -- sraw531
sraw531 shouted: is there a way to create using triggers a building that is under construction? (Especially protoss, for multiple reasons)
afaik this is not possible
[08:46 pm]
sraw531 -- though ~3400 units on map is also an improvement considering reavers are 11 and carriers are 9 units.
[08:45 pm]
sraw531 -- GGmano
GGmano shouted: Yea see it describet as ccmu fix
I think my favorite part about ccmu fix is probably the 400 weapon limit. 100 is so low, considering 10 valks is 80 of that.

Ultraviolet -- Suicidal Insanity
Suicidal Insanity shouted: Ultraviolet The devs are fairly good about backwards compatibility, just sometimes takes time
Fair enough, random crashes are always scary though :P

Suicidal Insanity -- Ultraviolet
Ultraviolet shouted: martosss So you've had issues with maps that were previously playable having issues with the latest patch as well? I was play testing one of my creations a couple days ago and it crashed the game, something it has never done before. Has me feeling kind of concerned about playability of custom content going forward :/
