Looking for an external hard drive. My computer was given to me for free by my Dad's boss, and It's pretty shitty. It runs SC and D2, but fails at SC2..
Anyhow, that's not the point. My hard drive is tiny, and I'm starting to lag from the amount of space I'm using up.
So I'd like to know if there are any GOOD (Not asking for awesome-top-class shit) External Hard drives in the USA, that are fairly cheap (75-150$) but don't die easily.
Any info would be great, also perhaps links to such external hard drives as well. Thanks~

Why do you want an external hard drive? An internal one would do ya just fine.
Internal drives:
Seagate 7200RPM 2TB - $100
Western Digital 5400RPM 2TB - $100
Seagate and Western Digital are both good brands (though some people have bones to pick with either one). Western Digital tends to run a bit more expensive in comparison, as you can kinda see above (slower drive at the same price).
External drive:
Seagate 2TB - $110
External drives are going to be slower than internal drives. It has a USB3 interface, which won't mean much to your current computer, but it will be nice to have when you get a chance to upgrade.
Thank you for the info Roy, I think I found what I wanted.
The reason for wanting an external is because I'm pretty sure I'm going to be buying a laptop soon, and also moving out of the country. >.>
So I needed something that I could take with me, that doesn't weigh 35 pounds. And is easy to put away.
Anyhow, \Topic Close/
