So I was 'accepted' to be a generalist, and I think that this part is fun. I made 12 bucks yesterday, which isn't that much but hey, I could either do random queries or I could sit around and be bored.
In my opinion, transcribers/expediters apparently don't do anything. I've received so many spelling errors, mistranslations, and miscategorized things that it isn't funny. In one day, even. Which doesn't effect their pay (unless they get caught), but it does effect mine, because I have to go through and find out what the original text was trying to say, and then if it isn't categorized correctly the pay rate is lower.
Otherwise its fun. I like looking up random things on wikipedia. I don't see how anyone could make a living off of it though.

Transcribers receive voice messages, they listen to them and type what they hear. Sending it onto an Expeditor with errors is OKAY because it's the Expeditors job to clean up the query's grammar and spelling errors to the best of their knowledge. If the Expeditor can't answer the customers query with a PAQ or a QQ (automatic answers), then the query is sent onto a Generalist/Specialist. Usually if a Expeditor doesn't remove clear and obvious typos, and grammar errors, they will receive a 0% Quality on there overall quality percentage score. So if the Expeditor does it continually, then they will be deactivated and will not be able to apply or become a ChaCha guide... ever.

It's fun to ask chacha things like "What color underwear ;)"
Yeah, it's fun for us to. We get two cents for 3 clicks. When you receive answers to them, they're usually going to PAQ's or QQ's. This means that the Guide sends you a message that a guide had probably wrote over 3 years ago.
