The bug relating to notices of all kinds not disappearing should be fixed.

If you see a warning box talking about a mismatch between v5 and v6 data sets, this is to be expected. Essentially, this means IP fucked something up, and I tried to apply a bootstrap solution. If you see the warning and everything works, ignore it. If you see the warning and something isn't working, then let me know.

Report any further bugs here.

Yep - they're both gone. I did get the v5 and v6 error message, though. it went away today. :) YAY!

I think Farty should have gotten severity for purposely giving me a notice, that's an abuse of power there! Glad it's gone now though. :D

I didn't need a constant reminder every time I browsed a new page though. >_>

wth is starcraft

DevliN closed my most recent epic thread and I never got a notice of him doing it, nor does it show in my log. Intentional?

Just Here For The Pie

I do not recall there ever being a notice for having your topics being locked.
Then again, I think I have only ever had two of mine closed that was not by request.

We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch

The notice does not know if it was by request ;)

wth is starcraft

I swear I've gotten notices before. o.O I even got one from IP when I asked him to delete a topic.

I used to, but now I do not. The raffle did not give me a notice earlier today when I won it.

If I had to make a blind, uneducated guess, I'd say that it checks if you've read the message, and since there is no message attached to notices (?) they are considered "read" and thus removed.

wth is starcraft

Mod edited my post and I got severity, but I didn't get a notice. Not sure if that's normal.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
