Hey guys for some reason, last night at about 3:00 in the morning I was chillin in my clan channel and then POOF! it says my connection has been interrupted or something. So I don't mind I thought it would just mean reconnecting but NO! I connect again and all it does is go though all those different windows before you go online like "accessing account", "connecting to the internet" n stuff like that and then it just brings me riight back to the multi player page. I figured that I would just go to bed and it would be all fine by the next day but NO!, it still won't let me connect. Should I just re-install SC? or what?

Yes, you're IP banned. however, it could possible be no problem whatsoever, as it was for me. Try connecting ~30 times. Basically, keep pressing enter. If you get through, yay. If you don't, then just do it every day. It let me through occasionally even though I'm IP banned.

Wait for the IP ban to get off or somehow change your IP address .

JK, I've actually had that same problem. My connection gets interrupted arbitrarily and it relays be back to the multplayer screen when I try to log back on immediately. However, when I go on a different gateway or just wait like 5-10 minutes, the problem is fixed right away. Now in your case, maybe it is like the other's have said. It could be that battle.net is slow or something.

IP Ban can last up to 2 weeks depending on what you did. Ex. Hacks.

A lot of people have been having the same problem, according to the shoutbox and msn.

Most are people that are respectable players that wouldn't use hacks or flame, troll etc.

What is the worst is when it boots you off and reconnecting says that your CD is currently in use by yourself...

I had a friend that was IP banned for nearly a month!
It sucked to be him as he was big on SC at the time.

I think Battle.net is run by a secret society of Pengui-Ninjas who have devised a devious and absolutely random and cruel punishment system.

You get banned from a game? Black screen! The host leaves the game? Black screen! You quit the game too quick? Black screen?

You can still go on any gateway except the one you are ip-banned on.
