wth is starcraft

Someone has offered to pay your personal bills for a year, including a little stipend monthly for leisure (the occasional movie, going out to eat, etc). Their only requirement is that you spend the time wisely. What would you do with your year?

Generate more bills for the person to pay off.

Just here for the pie

Spend the year working on a large-scale project, or negotiate for them to pay my bills some other year.

Assuming I could resume my normal life after the period, I would probably waste the first few weeks playing video games. Once I got tired of that, I might work on a programming project. I could also spend a couple weeks traveling.

Win by luck, lose by skill.

OVERWATCH STATUS GO

Continue living as if nothing changed, spending my time working and going out as I normally do. By the end of the year I'd have a year's worth of salary waiting for me, so that seems pretty sweet.

👻 👾 👽 💪

Probably the same thing I do. I'd get to hang out with people more when I wanted instead of "no, I have work in the morning". If I were feeling productive I might try to work on some programming-related thing.

I'd be able to like visit my brother and family and stuff. I miss doing that when I didn't work but was no longer in highschool ... My dad'd be like "Hey, going down to California!" and I'd be like cool, and go with him. ;o I did like the coolest stuff during that time.

We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch

Considering unemployed have exactly this kind of deal I'm not believing most of those who say they'd be productive. Guess I'd get a part time job and do fun expensive things like traveling or partying. Or what Devlin said. Or a mix of both.

Just Here For The Pie

I would start out with the mentality of: "I can save my money up". Between the juggle of work and active weekend outings, the thought would eventually corrupt as I derail with compulsive buys here and there. New thoughts would come about, like: "That was a large buy. I better not make another extravagant purchase like that for awhile" and "I will just have today's soup".
In the end, I will find myself with suits rarely to be wore, CDs & Video Games left to collect dust, and time forgotten.

Wait a minute...

idk I've been pretty productive. Still am. Got a lot of reading done and life things figured out. I could be more productive if I was actually employed to produce something I guess :x

sounds like moisture control is often a pressing concern in your city
