Making their final preparations after sunset, the mafia set out from their hideout to make their kills. Stopping off at a gas station and waiting, the mafia filled up and waited for targets to pass by. Coming home from a late night flick, Crimson Magnum and NudeRaider were in need of some rest. Slowly but stealthily, the two mafia cars followed their prey to their home.
There doesn't seem to be much for clues here. The first thing that stands out is the 'slowly but stealthily'. People seem to think l)ark_ssj9kevin is the best suitor for this supposed 'clue'. I can see how it makes sense, but I wouldn't put much stock into it through just one instant of such mafia manuevering. It's not like moose was describing just a single person walking. He was describing how the entire mafia were driving in their
cars. I can see the sentiment here, but I don't think we can condemn on just another instance of a possible "OMG IT'S LIKE A DT" intrepretation. It seems to me like this description could fit nicely into what moose would call a 'superflous' description, acting as a red herring. Moving on, I find the use of the word 'prey' interesting. It holds a little less weight than even the DT intrepretation (imo), but here's a note I'll make here incase any of it repeats in the future. The use of the word 'prey' typically would indicate one animal being a predator, and chasing after their 'prey'. Darkling's avatar would fit this 'predator chasing prey' description nicely. It's a bear, with a spear in his hand -- certainly could be indicative of Moose's word choice. The only other avatar/sig that would fit this intrepretation that I saw was Paravin's mystery creature in his avatar.

Crimson Magnum and NudeRaider entered their home and got comfortable as the mafia waited for the right time to strike. Undetected, Neither of them saw the mafia even as they poured gasoline around the perimeter of the entire house. Meanwhile, the rest of the mafia went around to the cellar door and snuck into the basement. As NudeRaider looked through some files in his room to gather information, Crimson Magnum heard the mafia's sound resonating through the basement.
This undetected thing now seems to be pointing to Dark once again. I can't imagine why moose would be so obvious, though... it's once again just a possible 'superflous' description. Other than that it appears, this gas thing leads to another clue that appears to be obvious, pointing to lil-inferno. However, This does not necessarily indict him.
Quote from Mini Moose 2707
Crimson Magnum grabbed his revolver as he told NudeRaider to come downstairs. NudeRaider opened the basement door and went down first, with Crimson Magnum close behind. As soon as Crimson Magnum got the second step, a mafia that was hiding upstairs pushed him down the stairs.
This mafia hiding thing points to stealth again. If this mafia were cloaked, then that would help them to hide a lot. Considering the fact that this mafia got so close to the victims without being noticed, it would make sense. The other clear intrepretation of this hiding would point to FatalException and his supposed 'ninja' avatar. I have one more thought about the possible "stealthiness" of the mafia being displayed, which would be more subtle of moose. Zycorax has a blank spot where his avatar should be. Now, being that an avatar is literally supposed to be a picture of the user in some way, the fact that Zycorax's is missing could be used as a clue. Maybe Zycorax is transparent/invisible, and that is why his pic appears blank, and that is why we have a seeminly stealthy mafia on our hands. It's a stretch, but it's plausible.

Frantic, but still animated, Crimson Magnum's shaky hands drew his gun and aimed around the room. "Mine!" laughed a voice as Crimson Magnum's revolver was stolen from behind him and he was kicked to the floor. NudeRaider got up and tried to run back out the cellar door, but it had it slammed shut in his face as a bullet went into Crimson Magnum's chest.
Now who would be stealing things from behind and yelling "Mine!'? Not sure yet. A bit of a stretch here, but hear me out. Perhaps frazz who believes that the "The most dangerous weapon anyone can wield is self righteousness" was the one being self-centered and taking the gun for himself and using it as a weapon? Just a thought that I'll throw out there. I can't really make two sense of this clue with anything else right now. Not sure about the last sentence there clue-wise.
Quote from Mini Moose 2707
Landing face up on the floor once again, NudeRaider was punched and beat up by the mafia as one mafia fashioned a noose to be put around his neck. Securing the rope to a pipe on the ceiling, NudeRaider was suspended helplessly off the ground by his neck. He simply didn't have the strength in his now broken arms to free himself.
The noose appears to be a clue here. Now, someone has already used it as an intrepretation against me, and its a fair one. However, voting for me on something that is so slight, and could easily have many other meanings -- like zycorax did -- doesn't make much sense. I'll pose another intrepretation that is a bit of a stretch for it. But, it's about the best I can do at this point. (aside from going darkness = emo = hanging, in which case it could be pointed to a # of people with 'dark' in their name or a black avatar/sig) Jaff has an avatar of a man holding a gun to his hide -- one possible form of suicide (if you pull the trigger, although jaff's avatar is really a guy playing russian roulette, close enough). Hanging is another form, perhaps this JaFF guy is a mafia who likes different forms of suicide deaths. I have no idea about the broken arms thing, truly.
Quote from Mini Moose 2707
The mafia ran outside and the house was set ablaze to dispose of all the evidence. Outside the house, the mafia Left a message: "A NEW POWER IS RISING." scrawled in chalk on the sidewalk.
Lil-inferno -- house ablaze, seems too obvious. The message, perhaps evidence of a self-righteous mafia using his personality as a dangerous weapon (frazz), but still a stretch. I have no other intrepretations of it yet. As to why it was "scrawled in chalk on the sidewalk", not sure, but it seems like a clue.
I'll vote later.
