So this is final? SEN Mapnight is not for Europeans?

I just noticed the timezone which seems to have been agreed upon. PST is not exactly a convenient point to coordinate around - it would mean Europeans wouldn't be able to participate (6am start? Not unless I was very committed...). Past Map Nights used EST, which was a little easier for those of us on the old side of the Atlantic.

Well, judging from the Votes, it seems that it has been agreed that it'd be Friday 7-9pm PST.
I am aware of the timezone bias, but I needed to make sure that I can commit to map night. That was the most important thing I had in mind.

If this is successful enough, I will try moving the time, and spreading out the responsibilities so that more people can participate.

In my defense, waking up at 4am in the morning for map night is well worth it.

Then why don't you just like make it at 7-9 EST

Because that would be 4-6PST and most people have other things to do that time

Why not get a TON of maps and several hosters and do 7-12 EST? (7-9 EST + 7-9 PST if I've done my math right.)

Because I wanted to focus the time more so that more people'd gather together...
If it's successful enough, i'd eventually spread out the hosting duties, as I've said before.

You can't expect to be considered a hoster if you haven't even participated in SEN enough to be known. Like Urine said...

Just go to map night and actually show that you can be a hoster, otherwise..with respect, you should really stop bickering about not being able to be a hoster.

Something came up and I will only be able to host during "Map afternoon" if there was such a thing. I still would like people to play tux's Astrogears map.

I can host anytime, preferably after 10 PM because I sleep during the day but ill try to wake up early for map night.
